I think most fans think of their club as plucky bottlers. As in ‘to screw it up from here would be the most Palace/Watford/Norwich/Team Rocket thing ever’. Think I’ve heard that exact line said about 20 different clubs.
It'd also be the most England/Scotland/Pakistan/South Africa thing ever.

Doesn't matter which sport I'm talking about

Yeah I think it’s even worse in cricket, where your own team losing lots of wickets after a decent partnership is seen as evidence of dire moral character despite it being the norm at every level in every country since the game was invented.

I was very young at the time, but wasn't Bowyer really gun with that quality Leeds side?
Had a hot streak next to Kewell and Smith, then tailed off

Was definitely not the same player after the racially aggravated assault trial which he was shamefully acquitted in.

Odd how the public largely forgave Woodgate for that incident, or at least forgot about it to a degree, but never did Bowyer
I think its because Woodgate laid low and Bowyer continued to be a ****

Really excited Bielsa is bringing us back to the premiership this season.

Probably as Bowyer had previous for being a tosser and Woodgate appeared to clean up his act, Bowyer of course latterly went on to fight a team mate which summed him up.

Not English but Barcelona had some game tonight, 2-0 up early on then 4-2 down and scored twice in stoppage time to draw 4-4 away at Vilarreal

Coutinho has been horrible this season. Not sure United should sign a player who loses the ball 50% of the time.

I think Coutinho will probably stay put. The owners won't want to lose face by moving him on at a massive loss, but surely that's what it'll take to get a buyer.

The wages could be an issue as well. And I'm not sure United would bother if they're genuinely up for spending the amount of money needed for getting Jadon Sancho.

Milivojevic with more goals from midfield than any other player in the Premier League over the last two seasons. Surely the big six will be in for him in the summer.

Probably long overdue tbh. I remember several people saying those sorts of things about him 3-4 years ago on here.

I'd say goals from midfield is a bit misleading when 19 of his 23 for Palace have been from 12 yards

This top four race is getting even funner now. Arsenal's away form will add a great uncertainty to it.
