The direction the ball travels isn't in the law. He's offside because when it's played his foot is in advance of the ball and in advance of the last defender.

I thought Amrabat interfered with the keeper from an offside position on the first goal too.

Strange one Rashford, clearly gifted, but does need to be more clinical in front of goal. The attempt that hit the post was a piece of magic, but his finishing before wasn't great.

They need to try and find a place for Martial, way to good to be restricted to 15 minute cameos, and obviously a left back.

A lot to like however if obviously against so-so opposition.

So I hardly saw any of the match last night but the few clips I saw as I was in the bar getting another drink were packed with comedy Arsenal defending. You would think by now that they would have sorted some of that out as it isn't a new thing. Wenger with his head in the sand as usual.

Feel like only Arsenal could be missing 4 CBs and it still be considered typical Arsenal if they have some dodgy moments defensively.

I thought they were going to scrap this lower league trophy nonsense where they have Under 21 Premier League teams in it. We (Plymouth) are playing Chelsea this week. Given that Chelsea have about 57 players out on loan and players rarely progress through the ranks I'm not expecting another Michael Owen "I was there" moment. (He played in a schoolboy international at Plymouth long before anyone had heard of him and scored four goals).
