We've just put in a 3g pitch, not for playing but practicing. Doesn't have the bits that give you cancer luckily enough.Sutton's 3G pitch is their finest asset. Be interesting seeing a big club play on it.
Surely they'd prefer it to most non-league pitches at this time of year.Sutton's 3G pitch is their finest asset. Be interesting seeing a big club play on it.
I agree but top level players moan about them constantly. Maybe a sign of how good the best grass pitches have got.3G pitches are great.
Yeah, I never really understand the rage about them, but perhaps that's right.I agree but top level players moan about them constantly. Maybe a sign of how good the best grass pitches have got.
Eh, dunno. Maybe.Surely they'd prefer it to most non-league pitches at this time of year.
Yeah it's definitely difficult to adjust between different surfaces, just because the ball behaves differently when it bounces. Makes sense that non-league sides would hate going there.Eh, dunno. Maybe.
I'm sure they won't trouble Arsenal, but Sutton are immense at home. They are the only team from the bottom half we have lost to. Their home record would probably be title-challenging form. It's like a non-league India away sort of situation. Just seems like players really struggle to adjust.
As I say, obviously Arsenal will be fine result wise - but it will be interesting.
Yeah those were basically just sandpaper. Hateful. Not half as bad as the old school sand based astros though
Lollipops, I've seen this movie before. Not one for hyperbole, but honestly, given the context, that first half is probably the worst I've ever seen Arsenal play.
Haha, yeah, I guess. It just struck me that it's not entirely out of the question that Beevs sits at home waiting for news items to appear that will allow him to take a crack at things he doesn't like.Haha he is basically right though. Not that many of the teams that played Spain were any less cynical.
Also I doubt Spain's trademark cynical foul, straight after losing the ball, would be considered worth a sin bin.
