That booking was a ****ing joke. He's just jumping out if the way of someone about to kick him.
Disagree, he's actively pleading with the ref on his way down, it's simulation, particularly the little kick-out in the end.

Obviously top 4 was very unlikely before today for United, but when you look at these performances, they will do well to finish top 6.

Did you not see the side who are in 7th just?

That game was awful. Sky should refund us all for a **** Sunday not a Super one.

Fairly good performance from United. Randolph incredible. Terrible result but what can you do? Not everything is in our control.

Arsenal match was okay.

Still don't really get Uppercuts blind faith in Mourinho. the mans tactics of harrying refs and his own players clearly having a detrimental effect.

Surely Jose's the first man to say results matter most, and despite having tons of money and seemingly able to bring in whom he wants, he's not getting them,

Yep, Randolph played well today, but their was no OMG saves and lets not forget West Ham had opportunities also. I thought the Arsenal v United game was low quality which Arsenal and most of their fanbase agree with me simply did not show up and despite that they still drew. That performance for many Arsenal fans was embarrassing, but for United it was probably their second best result after the draw v Liverpool where they parked the bus!

Standards have fallen indeed.

It's hardly 'blind' faith. I watch all of our games.

I know how pathetic it looks to say you've been unlucky over a fairly extended period like 10~ games, and Mourinho is enough of a dick to not have the right to claim it. But it's also just true. I think it's fairly obviously true too, unless you're the type to explain random variation by babbling about 'confidence' or 'killer instinct'.

This just happens sometimes. I'm not one of these fans who thinks the universe is constantly out to get us, this time last season I was talking about our extended run of really good luck.

Well I don't watch all the matches, but Niall seems to, his argument possibly more valid than mine.

Hey i hate Jose with a passion, and am not a fan of your team as I may have mentioned once or twice before, so I'm impossibly biased I'll admit, but I have to say I'm pretty happy with him staying there, I think he's a busted flush and needs to change his attitude, or decisions and results will carry on going the other way.

Also, just think they're not that entertaining, which was a massive criticism of the replacements of Taggart. Wouldn't matter if they were winning, but there's already a big gap on 4th.

Honestly I think it's completely fair if you to think Niall makes more sense if you don't watch the games. Results reflect performances more often than not and you need quite a good reason to believe they're not. A fan of the team rambling online definitely isn't a good enough reason.

All the numbers that historically revert look good for us too though, not that you'll find that much more convincing.

I just think it's really not a good time for this run for United, Klopp, Guardiola and Conte just seem to have energised the League. It's the same for Poch really, not that he's in danger of sacking, but Spurs are just not looking like moving forward.

We'll see, still a long bit of the season to go citeh and Liverpool can't defend, Chelsea have David Luiz and Arsenal are well Arsenal. So who knows?

It'll be interesting to see what the board does if Man United don't make the top four. An FA Cup wasn't enough to save Loopy so it looks like a line in the sand has been drawn.

I think United are probably playing better than their results suggest, but it's a hallmark of José's sides to get results even when not playing their best. It'd show hypocrisy I've hitherto only suspected him of to fall back on the Wenger argument of "never mind the results, feel the quality of play".

Wenger, of course, exclusively making this argument from the comfort of the Champions League...

I have not watched a huge amount of the Premier League so far this year (apparently this is a trend) but it really should be a really good season from here, just feels like it needs some really great games.

Yeah I think the league has gone, we're too far behind and the top 3 are better than us anyway. It's not an 'everything is fine!' situation, we should be aiming to be better than we are now. But we were soooo far off good enough last season, and since Jose arrived we've improved quite a lot in a very short space of time. Gotta just keep at it, chill out about it when we don't get the rub of the green, and hopefully the results start coming at some stage.

35 points from his last 29 league games.

We're not talking about Alan Pardew or some other clown managing relegation candidates, we're talking about Jose Mourinho here.

Speaking of Pardew, he has got to be gone surely, that game yesterday looked liked such a bad game for a 5-4.

It really was a classic of the goals don't really mean quality. Can't deny it was fun though, 5-4s will always be pretty rare, in all my time watching football I think i've only been there for 1.

Against Millwall, and oddly had a big crowd as we were doing vouchers for the 81 cup run. Wasn't that exciting though, we were 5-1 up, and they just stole some late goals, never really had the chance of an equaliser.

Same.

In fact, I have steadily been watching football less and less over the last 2 years for two main reasons:

1. The diving has gotten ridiculous and the refs are basically there to stroke the egos of very rich young men

2. Coverage in the UK is fragmented all over the place and I'm not one for looking for shoddy internet streams on a match by match basis

Cresswell's yellow today was absolutely identical to the Xhaka red. That new rule was obviously an invention by the Goals on Sunday team and Oxlade-Chamberlain #Stillbitter
