*Official* English Football Season 2016-17

Credit where its due, odd looking line up, but that was United's best performance all season. Its a reminder to Jose that if Zlatan was to go to America next season he really would not be missed.

Chelsea were dire, but despite what Sky may try to spin, they are still really strong favourites to win the league, 4 points clear with only 1 tough looking remaining match away to Everton, while Spurs have Arsenal and United to deal with.

There was a bloke on TALKSPORT a while ago who bets against his own team every match to soften the blow of his team losing.
I have a friend who used to bet £100 on every United game that we'd be losing at HT then win at FT. Got odds of about 25-30/1 on it, so only needed one, possibly 2 to come in all season to be quids in. We went through a run of about 5-6 games in a 2 month period at one point where he won his bets.

Ended up giving it up because he'd spend the first 45 mins wishing the opposition would score, and 45 mins then hoping we'd turn it around. Was killing his enjoyment of the games (this was in the Fergie era when Utd games were actually enjoyable to watch.....)

Meanwhile, Herrera, WAG. Has everything. Passing, finishing, engine that runs for days, and enough of a bastard streak to make everyone else hate him. He's the quintessential Utd player.

Think at times his long range shooting is horrible and does walk the line with his tacking, but yeah overall a fine player and was absolutely immense today.

Assuming Barcelona don't come calling in the Summer, can't think of a reason why he shouldn't be captain next year.

He's basically the physical embodiment of United. Unless you're a supporter, you'll probably hate his guts.

Had no idea people didn't like Herrera, I mean, I hate Manure but never had any inclination he was a disliked player. Pretty clear today he did the job on Hazard, we had a joke when Jose brought on a 4th defensive midfielder in Carrick but he cleary brought him on to sit on Fabregas and his tactics today worked.

It wasn't the greatest match to watch from an 'impartial' POV but that was pretty much Chelsea's fault, they were disappointing all things considered.

He's a really good player. Technically proficient, good range of passing, creative etc. But he's a rat. A real professional in terms of the fouls he commits and just an all-round pain to play against. The kind of player Dennis Bergkamp would have elbowed into oblivion and been sent off a million times for.

Yeah his technical ability balances out his rattishness, so he doesn't actively ruin games the way pure fouler DMs do. I love him and I think if he played for someone else I'd probably still grudgingly respect him.

Going to Guiseley today. I'm told it will be the worst ground I've ever seen Tranmere play a non-friendly at

Plz get promoted so this silliness can stop

The Greens need a point at home to Newport or Luton not to win at Colchester and we'll.be up. Easter is so late this year it gives a rare chance to celebrate it with promotion.

I've just had a look at Guiseley's ground on Google Earth. From overhead it does seem to be lacking most things associated with a football stadium. Facilities for spectators being one.

Apparently this Kolašinac fellow we're close to signing is like a left sided Ivanovic. Wonder if he's been told who will be managing us next season?

I always take my daughter in seating, but she had asked if she can go on a terrace at an away game soon. The lack of a terrace means it'll be seating today...if we can get one. First come, first served apparently

This league....

Looks like the ground should change its name to Nevermore Park.

Why is Conte admitting Chelsea deserved to lose and blaming himself? Why couldn't he have said the first goal was handball like any normal person?
