If I was on the Arsenal board I would say retire to Wenger, announce it now so the players might turn it round in the remaining games and go for Koeman and sign Barkley and Lukaku at the same time. Probably get the 3 in for £100m and if Sanchez and Ozil want away they cover that anyway. Koeman seems a good manager who can adapt a side with different formations depending on circumstances and he would probably get Van Dijk from Southampton to partner Koscielny.

What will probably happen is they will get a foreign guy in and lose Ozil and Sanchez anyway and have a season of transition.

It will be interesting to see the transfer policy under a new manager, will he spend big in a Man City, United or Chelsea type way that we have seen in the past?

Yeah, because Koeman definitely isn't one of those...

Anyway, Arsenal do not need Lukaku and they certainly do not need Barkley, not at the price either of them would cost anyway.

Well he has managed in the league for a while. I mean someone who hasn't managed in England before.

Arsenal don't need the leading scorer in the Premier League? Arrogant or what.

This is a very simplistic way of looking at things. Arsenal already have one of the top scorers in the league, and have had one for the majority of the last ten seasons.

Well the top scorer they have wants out if reports are to be believed so will need replacing anyway.

I fully appreciate that Lukaku wouldn't suit Arsenal under they way Wenger plays but you can't ignore his goal record and in a better side with more creative players he would probably get even more. Yes his first touch is sometimes abysmal but that goal record is amazing for a player in a side who don't threaten the top 4 places. 83 premier league goals in 180 games is fantastic and he is scoring more the last couple of seasons than before so is improving all the time.

Old KP on here will be fuming, normally it is the Daily Mirror selling Everton players for them but I am doing it on here today.

Just realised this could be the last 9 or 10 games we see of Arsenal under Arsene.
