22 points in 12 games, behind Tottenham and West Ham, level with Leicester and only two points more than Southampton and Stoke. I think the luck has just evened out from what we were seeing under Mourinho tbh.

Next season is really hard to call at the moment though. No one really knows how Leicester or Chelsea will do. Similarly United and City will probably have new managers and Liverpool should be better in Klopp's first full season. City are probably the logical bet for the title, but they'll be a couple of big sides who'll be major disappointments in not getting top four.

Leicester are actually going to win the title. They were staring relegation in the face a year back.

Wearing the goggles must have confused Kane. Instead of just going over the leg he took the opportunity for a massive dive.

A goal up, a man up, at home, against this Liverpool side - and Palace still lose. They're playing like a team who deserve to be relegated, and on current form - even allowing for some of the direness below them - they may well be.

It's amazing to think they were actually level on points with Spurs on Christmas Day.

Maybe, but he's also had one hell of a swipe and did catch Fletcher who was on a run. You wouldn't argue much if that was the first yellow.

Glad to be in level at the break, WBA the better side.

An abject performance, but more than that a quintessentially United-under-LVG result. Whenever we finally look like we might just be on a run of form we go and ****ing blow it, and usually with a display something like that.

We only looked like we might be on a run of form to people who weren't watching. That wasn't really any worse than Wednesday, except on Wednesday we were the ones to pull out a goal from somewhere.

I suspect a summer succession is already planned, but the club are hoping it looks better if they wait until May. Obviously it would be far better for the team to get a new man in and give him time to prepare for next season, but that's secondary to Woodward and the Glazers. All of our decisions at every level are based on perceived marketability first and on football second, and hence we're shite.

Dunno, it was poor yes, but Mata massively let us down. A Pullis side is always going to be tough at the back, and we needed Mata to find the gaps for our quick attacking trio. Getting sent off so early allowed the WBA midfield to actually look forwards for once in their careers, and it took an un-Pullis move (using an actual fullback) to make the chance. To me its hard to have a go at LVG when one of his most senior players did such a stupid thing so early.
