I think Sterling is a huge player for us. For the first time since the oil money came in we actually have two wingers. It's given Silva, Yaya and Aguero more space through the middle and it's even made Navas look decent.City are doing that thing they do every 2 years where they remember they're good.
Was pretty average in the first two game sbut thought his first 50 minutes yesterday were absolutely outstanding. Linked up really well, held the ball for AK to overlap and kept Howard on his toes a few times. He started to give the ball away after that though and was rightly taken off for Nasri, who holds the ball and possession really well. His effort defensively has been impressive as well, especially considering how weak AK is in that department.Yeah, I think Sterling has made the team better in terms of the attention he can draw but he's not near what he will be. He's actually been pretty average IMO. When he starts to get going and finds his feet, he'll be even more of a nightmare. His understanding with Kolarov is really good already and when him and Silva get the combos going it'll be carnage.
Really quite worried about how Sanchez not really having a break over the summer might effect Arsenal to be honest. There's no denying his importance to the side, and he's played a ridiculous amount of games over the last few years. Will have to be managed very carefully. No World Cup and no African Cup of Nations will make a big difference though.
Yeah butPer and Kosc out tonight. Time to spend the next two and half hours praying to a higher power.
Looks fairly average to me.Loving our lineup.
