Lolled at the panel. Liverpool won't throw this away, 17 seconds later and Sevilla are level.

Half time came at the wrong time for them.

That's a yellow card? I guess half of Liverpool's team got locked in the dressing room at half time.

Milner is like the newest version of Adam Smith. A fraud of a player who belongs in the lower leagues.

Moreno has been toilet.
All season. Going forward isn't bad but defensively horrendous.

2nd half they were better than us but our naivety cost us. Was like the Chelsea game in 13/14; they knew we wanted it bad and would press for the goals too much.

We should have had the game done and dusted in the first. At least 2 penalties IMO, shocking refereeing all game. Constant whistling for fouls and didn't do much about the time wasting until the end when it was pointless.

Kolo was so brilliant. Moreno was so awful.

Fair play to Sevilla - comfortably the more professional side, although I daresay they won't have won many new fans.

Looking forward to seeing what Klopp can do with his own players, and without any European distraction. Onwards and upwards!

Don't see the Liverpool penalty calls TBH, far too close to the player and not much they could've done to got out of the way of them.

The timewasting from Seville was awful though. Its been said before, but there needs to be retrospective punishment for anyone who rolls around like a snipers victim only to get back up a minute or two later.

Still, Sturridge scored a beauty and didn't fall apart, so thats a bonus.

As Nate said, a summer rebuilding, a year without European football (I've always felt thats a good thing to offer when theres no end of year big international tourney, as it allows a player to recover from a long hard year, and get into Europe the season before the WC/Euro's, which is when it matters more). Liverpool have to be a decent shout for top 4 contention next year - I say contention, because I dare say there's no such thing as a 'Top 4' team wise anymore, you're looking at 6/7 teams now fighting for those positions.

Norwood's on Fire
Double edged sword for Liverpool. Champions League could theoretically have helped them in the market but with it seeming like nobody other than Arsenal has it nailed on from one year to the next, they might fancy they can still attract what they need on the virtue of being Liverpool and having a top class manager. Them a couple of years ago and Leicester this seem to show no Europe can be a big help if you're trying to break into that group.

Be an interesting season in England next time out. Four from seven for the coveted top four you'd think, but then who knows if West Ham or Southampton could threaten it too, Everton could be strong with their new money and a good managerial appointment.

will be good to have some excitement from a neutral POV as I'll have little tension for my own team as we romp to the National League title

I think their hands are clearly in an unnatural position and they're usually considered to be handballs via that kind of objective gauge of intention.

I mean, the Sturridge pass is ridiculous, how do you not see that one? He's putting Firmino through and the defender handballs it because he has his hands so low he catches the ball as it is passed along the ground.

As for next season...I trust Klopp but I think he needs to rethink a couple positions like LB and GK. If we can get a star attacker that'd also put us in a great position. No European football could also be a blessing in disguise.

No European football is a huge blow to attracting players. I can't believe people are suggesting otherwise, which is Pratters level idiocy.
