You always will find these sorts and of course they are usually the most willing to speak. Some Bees fans have been truly awful season this year, far worse than anything the club or players have done.Arsenal Fan TV is terrible. Really hate it. Mainly because it they seem to specialise in finding the most objectionable and incoherent people imaginable to interview. Like the person you mention, by the sounds of things.
He nearly bollocksed up the tie big time in the first leg mind you. Fair enough though. He's just the kind of player I generally dislike. Big and lumbering and seemingly dense.Fernando is like 30% of the reason we beat PSG tho. I don't mind him playing together with Fernandinho, I think they're better as a pair than Toure+him or Toure+Fernandinho.
Yeah, I guess you just have to try and stay away from this sort of thing or it'll just end up making you hate everything about the sport. You get crap fans/followers of every sport I suppose, but there's just something really ugly and boorish about dire football supporters. In the UK at least. Not sure which I would say was worse, these kinds or the rah rah cricket "fans" that appear every time the Ashes is on and profess to know everything. You always will find these sorts and of course they are usually the most willing to speak. Some Bees fans have been truly awful season this year, far worse than anything the club or players have done.
I think this is only partly true to be honest. Obviously having competent utility players should not come at the expense of having high quality first team starters. But off the top of my head I'd say it's rare for a truly top side not to have one or two, or possibly a handful of, very competent but unremarkable players to fill in the gaps as and when needed. Players like Park Ji Sung and Ray Parlour spring to mind.I feel like these background players don't matter much, title winning teams always have a few turds. It always feels like the solution to underperformance is to replace the turds with shinier turds, but having the league's best players is more important than having the least incompetent filler.
Don't rate their central midfielders in the slightest.I'd say City have the best starting XI but not the best squad.
I got a bet of Barcelona, Liverpool, West Ham, Juventus, Real Madrid and Man U.****ing Rangers in the process of costing me sixty quid here
Chelsea's defence is rotten.RE: Chelsea next season. Don't take top 4 as a given. Remember Utd had a side that had won the title 2 years prior, a bad season where we'd missed out on Europe, and had brought in a new manager with a reputation for success (remember when LVG had a reputation?). Despite heavy investment, we still laboured to 4th.
The thing Chelsea do have going for them is that Hiddink has got the current squad going again, and the early announcement of Conte might have made one or two players think staying another year might not be too bad, but if they lose a couple of key player in the summer they might find the road back is a bit longer than they thought.
Surely they won't win the semi, they look a shambles. If the semi wasn't this weekend Martinez would follow in Rodgers post Derby footsteps
