Chelsea are suddenly in a bit of trouble. Kiev winning in Porto means they'll need a result against a strong Porto side in the final game.

Arsenal relieved to clinch their place in the Europa League. Another poor performance from the Greens. Our manager seems to have nothing up his sleeve when things are going wrong. He gets the benefit of the doubt with six players out injured from a small squad.
What price an Arsenal v Chelsea Europa League Final? Not sure either are good enough to get there. :band:

Well Arsenal should really go through now. Maybe this will actually turn out to be the year they get past the second round, they can't get Bayern. Of course they will probably just get Barcelona.

On paper it really shouldn't be, but knowing Arsenal it will of course be a painful (and probably very disappointing) experience.

I'm not ultimately that fussed though. If it came down to a choice between having a really good crack at the Premiership or a reasonable run in the Champions League I wouldn't hesitate to take the former. I would, however, rather avoid the Europa League at all costs.

At least it's one goal less than Monaco. Not sure it's a should though. Bookies have Olympiakos 2/5 to qualify and Arsenal 9/4.

Wonder how many more times Szczesny will concede 5 or more goals in a game. Happened quite a lot already for a guy who is still quite young and has played nearly all his football at top 4 clubs. Poor guy. Gave a good interview though.

Don't think he was really to blame for many (if any) of the goals on this occasion tbf to him. Some of them were ridiculously good.

Rather bizarre results for the greatest ever British footballer on the BBC website. No quibble with George Best winning by a mile, but some of the others getting votes means that there are people on this planet who think Graeme Souness was a better footballer than George Best.

Gareth Bale 3%
George Best 29%
John Charles 4%
Bobby Charlton 12%
Kenny Dalglish 18%
Ryan Giggs 8%
Denis Law 1%
Stanley Matthews 5%
Bobby Moore 8%
Graeme Souness 1%
Other 10%

 Giggs at 8%. Where's Keegan?

Biggest shock; how's Stevie not #1? In all seriousness, Lampard and Terry should also be brought up more.
