*Official* English Football Season 2014-15

I don't necessarily disagree, he did make the pass for Aguero at the death.

Doesn't mean that there isn't a veritable pantheon of players who would've done a better job. Maybe they wouldn't have gotten multiple red cards that season and we wouldn't have had to leave it until the last 90 seconds of the season? I loved him as a character but he was awful for 95% of the games he played in at City, people only remember that pass for Aguero and the goals against United in the 6-1. He doesn't put in, he doesn't work, he just stands around and waits for the ball, and then whines when he doesn't get it. He lunges in with horrid two footed challenges, argues with every referee decision ad nauseum, he stomps on peoples chests ffs.

And this bollocks about him changing, does anyone watch ****ing Milan? If anything he's worse. Was the same at the World Cup. He won't change. He's far too arrogant.
2 goals against Sunderland to rescue a point.

There was a period where he was carrying City, then he got sent off at the Emirates.

I'd have him at Arsenal I reckon
Funnily enough, of all the clubs, you need him the least - his strengths are covered easily by Walcott for giving an injection into a game, or any of your attacking players for the hold the game up and bring the main striker in. Really what you need is a good goalscorer, which Wellbeck is unlkely to be.

I think he'd fit quite well at Arsenal. He's more well-rounded than Giroud or Sanogo.

Liverpool would be a perfect fit but if that ever happens football is dead to me.

I think I'd take him because ultimately I quite like him as a player. He's probably not different enough to what we've got to warrant bringing in for that alone but he's different enough. Now I've thought about it more I'm not sure how sold I would be on the idea as I'd see him taking Podolski's role in the squad essentially and doing some work out on the left but that, in essence, would involve sacrificing the most efficient forward in the league for one of the least - which doesn't make much sense. I dunno.

Thats what I mean, he'd fit your style well but not any better than the players you already have.

As Uppercut says, would suit Liverpool too - However I think the home grown kid in him wouldn't do that to us....

Yeah Heinze tried his best. It's the one good reason for disliking a former player just because he's left. It's something I don't get usually but if you go to (or try to go to) Liverpool either directly, as he tried, or even indirectly you are clearly a ****. Heinze is proof.

Peter Beardsley the only other one I can think of, and IIRC he played a League Cup game for us at most, might not have even managed that.

Really not keen on losing Welbeck. He gives us pace and a directness that we don't get from the others. Kagawa is really the odd one out IMO. RVP, Rooney and Mata are all better in his favored position.

Feel sorry for Kagawa, he's clearly got quality, and at times his play around the edge of the box is second to none, but he gets shunted here and there, and never gets to play his style of game. I've often wondered what him and Mata with either Rooney or RVP playing atop of them would be like, the amount of balls to feet in shooting area's would be outrageous. Alas it would mean dropping one of the strikers, and I can't see that Happening.

Reckon Kagawa is a good example of what has gone wrong at MU - he's a good player who is rarely used to his full potential because the squad is so unbalanced and short in certain areas

Played for Citeh & yer Toffees too.

Can't be anyone else who's played for both Scouse and both Manc teams, surely?

Podolski apparently to Juve. Just making room for Reus I suppose. And meh at Song coming back.

Welbeck doesn't really give you anything on the left. That's where he played that season he got 1 goal in 27 games or something.

With hindsight the idea that he can do a job there has been a bit of a disaster for his career. I think a lot of people don't rate him because of ****e performances/statistics from when he played wide.

All 3 relegated sides beaten in our first 4 games. Rotherham disappointing but we controlled that game as well. Our defence/midfield are excellent, but need a goalscorer and we will be in with a chance.

Didn't realise you were a Wanky Wanderers fan.

Love Dave Edwards, cracking player and one of my favourite Salop players ever.

Brilliant result for us today despite conceding in last minute. To draw away when you play for over an hour with 10 men is a hell of an effort.
