*Official* English Football Season 2014-15

Signing one of the most highly-rated young players in the country isn't especially high risk so far as transfers go tbh.
err.. up to £16m for a kid who's only played one season in the position you want to play him in and you reckon it's not high risk?

The fact he's only played one season of league football at all should be enough of a worry, let alone the positional switch.

Well, the OX has to actually stay fit and do stuff before we can call it a success. Confident he will obvs, but it's still just potential at the moment. Tbh though, I think that he can play multiple positions is kind of a benefit. Means he could potentially fill in one of multiple holes in the future.

Anyone seen Pjanic's goal? Genuine 60 yarder, keeper wasn't even that far off his line.

It is pretty basic logic and there are plenty of potential issues with the premise anyway, but even if we were to accept that Walcott and Ox have been unqualified successes that does not prove that signing Chambers isn't a risk.

Obviously all transfers have some degree of risk and The Arse have had to pay for his age and nationality, but it's a good get all the same.

Would've preferred Stones, but I'm guessing he'd be both harder to entice away and more expensive.

Even if it is a 'risk', I struggle to believe it's not a signing that either United or. Liverpool would be interested in tbh

Nice little tour of the States for Tottenham going undefeated. I guess you have to be a pretty ordinary Premier League team to lose against a MLS side though..

What? We played well the last couple of games. It was good to see Lamela perform well. A few people on here did say that he actually is a quality player, so I hope I did jump the gun on him.

Imagine how bad you would have to be to lose consecutive matches to ordinary A-League sides

How's the view from down there anyway?

I would start a 'things that have happened since Spurs last finished in front of Arsenal' game but I'm not sure James has paid for the server space to document all of human history.
