Wow, is that really the basis of your arguments? Guess you kind of forget how Ronaldo dominated those lists for 4 years, and won the Ballon d'or too.

I know we'll never completely agree, but claiming Gerrards better than any Utd player during his time is comical. Actually its rather pitiful. It'd be like me trying to claim Mark Hughes was the best striker of the 80's
You need to take a breather.

Gerrard > United. Especially all your midfielders.

Come on Chelsea! *uses hand sanitiser*

We were playing OK but the way the game was set up Chelsea were always going to have the better chances. Creating very little and only a matter of time before we made a mistake passing the ball out from the back.
With the way United have been recycling the ball and utilising Fellaini; I'm glad someone got the hint. I think United will continue to dominate possession but if teams don't get desperate to chase them then I don't think you guys are particularly creative. Jose has set it up well; but anything can happen...it's only a goal.

Oh good a Gerrard argument to come home too, perfect end to a perfect footballing day.

and TBF, even though IKKI is being unbelievably tedious and deluded on the subject, as is his wont, he didn't start it, or even carry on with it at first.

TBF, I started it, and never said I'd be reasonable, so he knew what he was getting with me.

The more I see Paddy McNair in a utd shirt, the more I remember the days our youth system churned out stars such as Danny Pugh.....

I'm kidding around. I thought that was obvious.

Yeah, typical Chelsea. Did what they had to and did it very well. We just didn't have any free players in their half until the last 10-15 minutes. Either that or Valencia's run forward, stop, look lost and turn game is back on form. At least Rafael excites, even if half of it is crap your pants at what he'll do next excitement.

Was impressed with Smalling again. Not perfect but showing increasing awareness at the back. Fellaini decent again. Young had a quiet one but we'll allow him that for once.

We missed Carrick and Blind, of that theres no doubt.

Alexis or De Gea POTY for me. Clutch as ****.

What hasn't helped De Gea is the last few weeks he hasn't stood out. Our defence has been stronger so less need for his miracles, and also a couple of goals conceeded that were disappointing from his POV (Benteke springs to mind). Wrong time of year, and being a goalkeeper magnifying the errors, may cost him.
