Apparently thirteen teams have made the top four in the Prem since its inception.

Spotters points for anyone who can name them all (no Googling).
United
Citeh
Liverpool
Arsenal
Tottenham
Everton
Leeds
Ipswich
Norwich
Blackburn
Chelsea
Newcastle
Aston Villa?

EDIT: Bollocks, made a similar mistake to GIMH- was sure Ipswich made fourth that season under Burley.

Are Arsenal better in the first halves of games a lot or is that just me?
I don't think so. We spent loads of the early weeks playing **** and then rescuing points at the end. I think recently we've been shooting ourselves in the foot a bit with regards to match situations though. Since Anderlecht mainly. Truth is we very rarely play badly in these games anyway.

Why would you remotly care about Eosicky when Sanchez, Ox and Celzora are in the same team?
He's so slick. Think he probably plays the fastest football of all our midfielders.

Yeah and he does it deep in his own half. It's like his role in the team is to constantly dribble out of trouble and start breaks. Gets the whole team playing much more exciting stuff.

Yeah the dribbling from deep is so good aesthetically and for team tempo. United looked better offensively when they used Di Maria in a diamond rather than as a wide forward.

Yeah. Truth be told Di Maria isn't a great winger/wide forward. He wasn't a lot more than a workhorse counterbalance to Ronaldo until they moved him to the left of a midfield three, then he won them the Champions League. I think Van Gaal sees him as midfielder long-term, and definitely hope so, but we'll see.

Gotta love the Saints.

Be so great if they could finish top four.*

*unless it's at Arsenal's expense
Top four battle looks tasty from a neutral pov. Third and fourth is gonna come down to any two from six in theory from looking at the table currently.

ManUre, The Arse, Saints, Hammers, Spuds...?
Yer scousers are top of the form table apparently (think it was a five game one I saw), and Rodgers has finished both seasons strongly. They'll be up there in the mixer

(I sense you were being facetious of course but then it baffles me that you include the spuds on that basis)

NFI who'll finish where tbh. Arsenal 4th aside obv.

Genuinely can't see it, tbf, facetiousness aside.

United were gash and LVG got every conceivable decision wrong today, but Southampton were seriously, seriously tight at the back.

Debuchy could be out for the season apparently. Which is just ridiculous. At least it should force Wenger to buy a defender.

Yeah, he admitted as much in his post match interview. I imagine we'll see some movement on that front this week.

Edit: I wonder actually if anyone has tracked how often Arsenal's first choice back four (whatever it happened to be at the time) has played together over the last 5-10 years. I can't really recall it ever happening over a prolonged period.
