Yeah, I agree and without wanting to be accused of Arsenal-itis, I do think now they've lost Suarez the average quality of our players is just a little bit higher than that of theirs.

Totally agree with this, would take all of your back 4 (if fit) ahead of any of the Liverpool defence, also your keeper too.

I was probably overstating things, But I don't think you could really say any of Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla would struggle to get into the Liverpool side (current form notwithstanding).

How do people think Coutinho compares to Cazorla? My first thought is I'd prefer Coutinho since he's started running around a lot more.

I think it's pretty predictable who Del Bosque would pick, because he's very conservative about bringing in young players. I assume you would take Cazorla too?

Honestly the matches we should be looking forward to is the FACUP last qualifying round. Willand Rovers v Gosport Borough, clearly the biggest match of the weekend.

I think Cazorla is strangely underrated these days tbh. Last season wasn't as great as his first and he's not on the Sanchez/Özil level but hes a bloody phenomenal player. Actually plays really well in the middle and does a fair shift in terms of defensive work too, which he's almost never credited with. Obviously he's far from amazing at that sort of stuff but he's never a passenger.

I think Cazorla is the better player at the moment because of his consistency - which is where Coutinho struggles (probably age-related) - but I think Coutinho has quite a higher ceiling. When he is on form he just dominates the game. Dribbling, passing and lots of work-rate. I think once he manages the consistency you'll see him rated as one of the best players in the league. He's like a more technical, less pacy, version of Sterling.

I think you guys have kind of marginalised his role by bringing in - or having - so many similar players. Always rated him one of the best attacking midfielders and was jealous when Arsenal got him.
