Haven't posted since last week, but contemplated throwing myself off the end of Southampton Docks in the meantime.

Well ****ing done Arsenal. They didn't make it easy for themselves, and on a few occasions I thought yesterday would turn out to be the worst afternoon ever, but they got it done.

So pleased for Wenger, above anything else. It's been so long since we've seen him celebrate a goal like Ramsey's winner. You could tell it meant the absolute world to him. He's made mistakes for sure, but imo he's an Arsenal man through and through, and I love him to death. Champion bloke.

Bastards. :p

The U's are back, babeh.
Ah well, in the end U probably deserve it, get it? Hey just getting my obvious jokes ready, because with Luke Chadwick around div 4, I'll be doing the "ugly fac eof football" material

Did your Cambridge United friends enjoy their time in the ****ing awful disgrace that is the Non-league dreginess of football?

Jack Lester scored though. Thought he'd retired.

Don't be dissing Luke; an Adonis of a man.

&, TBF, he has rather grown into his looks since he was the unacceptable face of the beautiful game.

Home town hero tho, but. Took a pretty significant pay cut to join the U's on loan.

Think most U's fans tended to fear the worst after they jibbed a pretty significant lead to Luton Down and again when Halifax lead from the first leg of the semi.

Not sure how it'll go; club really doesn't have a pot to piss in.

Could not give a **** about transfers right now (well apart from Brentford's of course) we have a World Cup to focus on now.

Louis van Gaal appointed Manchester United manager | Mail Online

I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling very disappointed at Ryan Giggs not being given the job.
no you are not alone there are other sentimental clowns like you. Louis van Gaal is a great capture for United, the right man for the job. Did you see how his Ajax team played (and won the champions league) in the 90s? Then there was Barca and and B. Munich. Impressed that he has ended Giggs's embarrassing swan song career (it should have ended a long time ago) but happy that he has kept the great Giggs on board.

He wanted Giggs to get it because he'd do a **** job not because of sentiment
Can't it be both?

I'm sure in years to come the Man U of 2013/14 will give us all a warm glow as we recall their hilarious antics.

Giggsy was the most likely to maintain this happy state of affairs.

While Toure's agent claims the club ignored the player's birthday, Manchester City earlier this month posted footage online of the moment they gave the midfielder a cake and sang 'Happy Birthday' to him onboard the club's plane.

Toure seems less than impressed though and refuses to even acknowledge the gesture, keeping his headphones on and staring straight ahead during the celebrations.

Surely this cannot be true.

I refuse to believe anyone who exudes a sense of fun like Yaya does could be so churlish.
