Don't worry United, your future stars Pogba and Reus both scored yesterday, so it was really a 2-2 draw.
Considering what Moyes has done with Juan Mata, they'll go to United and become hack midf#-fielders, running around with no coherent system, or any idea how to play them.

More importantly, they won't be going to United in the summer.

England can take Rooney and keep him please. Or Moyes will keep pandering to him more than even Barcelona do with Messi.
Ftr, I think Tata has tried to limited Messi's impact in recent weeks and focus the side elsewhere. Needless to say it's failed.

He's probably been United's best player this season though.
Probably De Gea. But yeah he's been up there in terms of individual players.

But i really think he's been albatross round the neck of the team too at the same time as Moyes is afraid of him.

He can't get substituted when playing ****, he can't be played in midfield or wide, he can't be dropped, he can't be substituted when injured like Bayern. He has been made captain, given him a ridiculous new deal and he always has to be the main man.

Plus now he bought Mata who wants to do similar sort of thing as him like Today when Rooney was bad but not even making runs in behind to stretch them.

Daylight between him and De Gea but he's probably been the second best. Not a lot of competition there though. The thing with Rooney is that his reputation is such a burden. He's easily in England's 23 best players but is likely to have at least two awful, awful games, and as we learnt at the Euros, Hodgson won't sub him for fear of a backlash. Ideally he'd be used properly but he'll be overused so badly that it'd probably be better if he wasn't used it all.

Argentina are leaving Tevez behind and Brazil are leaving Ronaldinho behind, for similar reasons.

Yeah, ftr I would still take Rooney to Brazil, I don't think you could conceivably leave him out. But there's no denying that today he was utter toss. Didn't look like he gave a ****; though most of Utd's team were guilty of this.

It might be a blessing in disguise if he gets injured on the eve of the WC Squad being announced tbh.

Isn't this what Ferguson said about Liverpool in his book?

If they got themselves a top coach they'd be right back into it, IMO. One or two good signings and they'd be proper challengers.
So are you saying they don't need a right back, left back, centre half and at least two midfielders before they go about replacing anyone who leaves?

England should definitely take Rooney.

But Hodgson shouldn't be scared to substitute him when required or drop him or play him out wide.

Shouldn't bother with this. England have plenty of players who can perform better out wide.

Fair enough, but the point is that if say Sturridge really takes to the International scene too and you want to play 3 in midfield against sm opponent shouldn't be afraid of playing Rooney on the left of a front 3 or dropping him if need be.

At least Rooney can't use tiredness as an excuse this time with a major tournament. Should be mentally fresh as United haven't been in any big games at the end of the season to wear him out and he has had the odd break through injury. Now or never for him and most of us expecting it to be never.

Welbeck has been pretty decent for England for the last year or 2 and he's one player who has improved at United this season compared to last.

Anyway, it's the system, confidence, man management, training that seems to be a bigger problem at United than just Personnel.

Giroud, Morata, Welbeck and Sanogo wouldn't be the worst four strikers for next season, which is what a lot of the talk is. I'd rather a top top quality striker though, obviously.
