Didn't much fancy another year of bench-warming, I suspect. Looks decent though, could do with a player with his strength at Arsenal.

Dreading tomorrow ftr, absolutely hate Stoke away.

The Torres signs were there for all to see as last season ended. Class is permanent yada yada

I like the look of Kagawa and RVP up front, but I reckon the key to their success will be Anderson and Cleverley staying fit in the centre of midfield. Reckon if they go down with 2nd month to end of season injuries like the last couple seasons. You will see Kagawa having to drop too deep to get the ball of Carrick, Fletcher and co. Then we will be playing basically a lone forward again.

Reckon if we can keep those two fit in the centre of midfield, Rooney could fit into that combination ok.

Good to see Evans back on the bench, hopefully that the last we see of Carrick in defence. Surprised they didn't take a punt on the Büttner at left back and Evra in the centre.

Totally agree, and he looked good in his cameos for Spain during the euros too.

On another note, how bad did Villa look against Everton. Relegation candidates?

Looked like a very slightly improved version of last year's side from what I could tell. Unless they can sign a few decent players before the end of the month they'll do nothing this year.

Haha, came in here to post more or less the exact same thing. Not looking good. Worried for Cazorla as well, imagine Stoke have been instructed to "rough up the new Spanish softie". Just hoping that Arsenal can finish the game without any dire injuries.

Hate this fixture so much.

Haha it's one of my favourites. It's like each side is playing a different game.

Arsenal dominating so far.

Very scummy of the Stoke fans to boo Ramsey but this Stoke fan is pretty funny…

Enjoyed the Liverpool Citeh game.
Will Sterling be capped early to prevent him doing a Victor Moses?
Was listening to Talk****e, seems like Sterling has had some life. Witnessed his dad getting murdered and despite only being 17, Sterling is already a dad to two kids with two different women apparently.

4 days left and we still have Park, Bender, Chamakh, Arshavin, Squillaci in the squad. **** off, get rid now. Oh wait, someone decided to give them huge money.

Bendtner is meant to be joining someone or other for £5m in the next day or so apparently, read it somewhere this morning.

Edit: Also really hope that Dembele and Lloris don't join Spurs, would be dire.

Yeah Dembele great Modric replacement, becoming more convinced by Martinez argument that the window should shut before the season actualy starts.

Walcott apparently turning down 75 grand a week, imagine what he'd be on if he had an end product.

Udinesi player just did the chip in a pen shoot-out, and the 'keeper just stood there, easy.:D

Turns out to be the losing pen too....
