Jarvis for 10 million wasn’t though. Fair play to Wolves, got 20 million+ for him and Fletcher, absolute nothing players.

Though Citeh spent 22 million on Lescott and were looking at Agger for 20+ as well, so 30 for Luiz seems about right.

QPR now bidding for Julio Cesar as well as Carvalho on loan. Seem to be becoming more deterimined to buy has-beens from big clubs, never been a transfer policy I have been particualrly fond of. Probably paying them all a **** load of money as well.

Is funny that they are looking to dump Rob Green already though.

In other news, thinking of adpoting a team for a year while Rovers get themselves promoted but NFI who to follow. Cheering for BFS is too perverse even for my hatred of Steve Kean. Leaning towards Reading or Norwich at this point.

Some of the fees for average players make you laugh, if Fletcher and Jarvis are worth those fees then god help us. They almost make the City deal for Rodwell look decent.

Good signing by Sunderland getting Johnson, might be the surprise team this year as O'Neill always gets his sides organised and punching above their weight.

Rumoured to be costing a lot in wages+fee and no option to buy at the end of the year. So he's a bit of a short-term fix. But he is also awesome.

Might even consign Gerrard to the bench. Allen-Lucas-Sahin sounds a lot like a Rodgers midfield.
