*Official* English Football Season 2011-12

Woodster

International Captain
I don't think I've enjoyed any game as much as I did Sunday's massacre at the Swamp. To win at Utd, one thing, to win 6-1, I still can't quite get over it. I'm still waking up in a morning and running through all the goals in my mind!

Tonight, though we might expect a kind of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' type of thing, but we got the fringe players playing some sweet football. Probably unfair to call them fringe players, as plenty of them have done their bit in the first team this season, but good to see some of the kids in there too.

Pleased that Dzeko keeps his scoring touch going, could easily have had a hat-trick tonight, but was constantly getting himself into good positions. Nasri and Johnson were both decent also, but you get the impression that Mancini is still not happy with AJ, he seems to expect so much more from him judging by the interview after.

Wolves, tbf, also made a fair number of changes. but I don't think they'll be in a rush to get to the Etihad on Saturday, hopefully we can produce a performance to match the last couple of outings.

Suarez may be an odious little ****, but fmd he's incredible with the ball at his feet. Just a shame he can't finish like that more often!

Harry tips Colin for England job

From the BBC.

You literally couldn't make it up.

It's clever stuff from Redknapp tho, really. Suddenly him getting the job doesn't seem so terrible after all.

More 3 Stooges defending (and keeping) and Stanford Bridge with Cashley & Cech having the latest mares for Walcott's goal.

Been an exciting game (fer yer neutralz, etc), but, bloody hell, the standard of defending has been shocking from both sides. I expect it from The Arse, but The Chavs usually have slightly more about them at the back.

Both teams would be scared witless by pace you'd think.

Anyway here's hoping uber-**** John Terry gets done for racism and one way or another gets kicked out of the England team. I can only think his family have kidnapped Capello's beloved pet dog or some such. He's complete ****e.

Was suprised Sturrage was taken off ahead of Torres at least Sturrage was making chances all Torres did was lose the ball on fall on his arse.

LOL @ Cech never been the same since the head injury as he?

He is ****e.

People watch his desperation style of defending and mistake it for passion and commitment. He wouldn't have to fling himself about so much if he could position himself correctly in the first place.
