Woodster
International Captain
I don't think I've enjoyed any game as much as I did Sunday's massacre at the Swamp. To win at Utd, one thing, to win 6-1, I still can't quite get over it. I'm still waking up in a morning and running through all the goals in my mind!
Tonight, though we might expect a kind of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' type of thing, but we got the fringe players playing some sweet football. Probably unfair to call them fringe players, as plenty of them have done their bit in the first team this season, but good to see some of the kids in there too.
Pleased that Dzeko keeps his scoring touch going, could easily have had a hat-trick tonight, but was constantly getting himself into good positions. Nasri and Johnson were both decent also, but you get the impression that Mancini is still not happy with AJ, he seems to expect so much more from him judging by the interview after.
Wolves, tbf, also made a fair number of changes. but I don't think they'll be in a rush to get to the Etihad on Saturday, hopefully we can produce a performance to match the last couple of outings.
