Well played Tottenham, destroyed us. Your backline is absolute crap, but it doesn't matter when your midfield bosses us round for the 90. Modric's strike was sublime.

Poor as it maybe, it’s better than Liverpool’s defence. Surely Carragher's last season.

Disagree, strongly. And I still don't get all the Carragher doomsday talk. He's well past his best, but still more than up to standard imho. More than happy with Kelly, Carragher, Agger and Enrique starting with Coates, Johnson and Skrtel in the wings.

Agger is made of glass and Carra would struggle to be 3rd choice at Spuds when King is fit

Still rate Jamie above all the Spurs centre backs, although only just. And poor Agger. :(

Ha ha, loving United's line up tonight - a right winger at right back, a midfielder and a left back in central defence and strikers on each wing.

Lovely play from Silva for that second goal, average game but thats a good win for City.

Got to love Mario.

A hard fought victory for the Blues, made difficult by Everton's organisation, discipline and general defending in numbers. Without a recognised striker in the away side's line-up, the tactics were always going to be clear, and I don't blame them for approaching the game this way as it's worked well for them in the past against City.

Thought City kept their patience really well, didn't throw bodies forward and leave ourselves open to a counter-attack, and we saw the benefit of being able to bring players such as Balotelli and Milner on from the bench.

Lacked a bit of width at times and it's important that Clichy and Richards do give us that, which they did on occasions.

The ball through from Silva for Milner's first Premiership goal in City colours, was outstanding.

Can't understand why you'd rest Rooney for a difficult game at Stoke when the next fixtures are gimme games at home to Basle and Norwich and then there's an international break.
