*Official* English Football Season 2010-11

In general. I don't know a lot about either, but I've been impressed by Dawson this season and I feel like Webb cops out of a lot of decisions. Happy to be told otherwise.

Dawson's a bit, I dunno, meh. Solid, steady, good pro, decent physical unit without being in the Adams/Campbell league, maybe lacks some gas and nothing exceptional about his distribution either. Upson v2.0.

Webb's somehow got a rep as a ref with authority, but I suspect this is due to him being a slaphead and some of Collina's reflected glory rubbing off.

Was abysmal in the WC final and, as you say, jibbed the big decisions. How de Jong's challenge wasn't deemed worthy of a straight red is beyond my ken. Suspect, like some players, he froze on the big occasion.

Is that seriously a penalty?!

EDIT: Shoulder to shoulder challenge, Pienaar isn't as strong and goes to ground. Spare me. Outside the box aswell perhaps. Far outttttt

Don't know what happened to our pass and move tonight, just because we have Carroll doesn't mean we need to go route one dammit. Ah well, credit to Spurs, maybe it's not the worst thing ever not playing Europa.

Haha, but really, thank you. Is Dawson a shout at centre back for the motherland?
Must be in line, yeah. Was called up to the WC squad as a replacement for Rio, after all.

If I were to hazard a guess he's probably 5th in the current pecking order and Ferdinand's and King's injury woes are well documented, so might only have Terry & Jagielka ahead of him.

Looks like it should be a fun final day, could not be tighter at the bottom. Blackpool could stay up just by losing by less goals than Birmingham.
