And up until that point they were awful. They are brown bread.
Completely disagree. A few shaky moments at the back, sure, but so did Blackburn, such as Pedersen clearing off the line.

Hammers dominated the crap out of that game. And Samba was amazing.

Definitely, they just didn't turn up until that final 10-15 minutes. Without Scotty Parker and Mark Noble, there's just no direction at all unfortunately.

Good on Man Utd, well deserved title, and as the media were saying the people who said Smalling and Hernandez were bad signings certainly have to eat their words.

Is it me or do Liverpool look better without Gerrard?

They got a fantastic deal on Torres ,maybe it is time they let Gerrard go as well?

I agree that getting rid of Gerrard could be a good thing for Liverpool. He was at his best when he had that attacking partnership with Torres. I've never really rated him as a particularly good CM anyway. Seems past his prime and really injury-prone these days as well, not sure anybody would pay a huge amount to get him.

Haha, get lost. Gerrard walks back into our first XI, no questions asked.

Such a good time to be a Reds supporter. So grateful for Dalglish, hurry up and sign yer contract you beautiful Scot. The one or two touch, pass and move football is so beautiful to watch, and our defensive structure is looking good. Suarez' work rate is just insane, he's so much more endearing than Torres in that regard. Loving ittttttttttttttt

Also, don't know what the media have been like in the UK, but in Australia it's mainly been about how Spurs are losing their grip on fourth spot. If anything, Spurs are resigned to sixth unless they somehow produce three points tomorrow imo.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I see it and from what I've read over here so do most.

While my 'their year' post was in jest, next season could be interesting if Liverpool take this form over.

And as for 'I've never rated Gerrard as a CM' - say what say what
