About one year too late. He really should of got the arse at the end of the season. I'm not in favour of sacking managers mid season, especially when a team is in the relegation scrap, but his treatment of his players at the game against Citeh said everything.
Him singing on the pitch at the end of the season just shows what a prize **** he is as well imo. Agree with you that sacking Managers at this stage of the season is a risky thing to do though, surely if they were going to sack him they should have done it around christmas or at least in the transfer window. Can't see their fortunes being massively turned around by anyone they manage to bring in with only 9 games left.

Does seem a strange decision to sack him now but these things do ocassionaly work, Martin Allen saved us from relegation taking over at a similar time of the season but I think it is unlikely to happen with Hull, will not mourn them.

If he's not achieving results, particularly with the financial consequences of relegation, then you can't wait till the end of the season.

No idea if this is actually the case, no idea what Hull's recent results have been like, bar Arsenal winning at the weekend.

Aquilani and Maxi both start in place of Lucas and Kuyt. At least they're trying to be less painful to watch.

Beckham would definitely have been in my squad, unfortuantely we have no-one even vaguely close to his class when it comes to distribution. Theo's chances have improved massively too.

Hope Hull stay up now; always used to have a soft spot for them til old diarrhoea-features took over. WAC.

Hmm, the only place I'd have had room for him would have been as cover in the middle of the park. Possibly operating in a similar manner to Pirlo for Italy. Too many options ahead of him on the right hand side, providing they're fit of course.

Think he'd be the man Fab would bring on with 15 left to close a game out or turn it around. Wouldn't get 90 from him, but he'd be worth his place I reckon.

Moot point now, however.

Brown a couple of divisions above Megson in the see you next tuesday league IMHO. Megson more "hapless ****" rather than genuinely hateful.

Brown was comical though, so you could easily laugh at him failing. Megson, well I've seen people having strokes with more of a smile on their faces, and jeysus doesn't he half whinge, almost up their with fat sam

Both Bolton ***** but Brown played for the filth as well so he's more of a ****

I'll tell you a story about Phil brown, have probably told it before. in 1991 the whites beat the filth in the play-off final for what is now known as League One, thus starting the best ten years in our history. Early on in the game, Steve Cooper went for an overhead kick. He missed the ball and kicked Phil Brown in the head.

Phil Brown was absolutely despised by the SWA, a few years later I was on a coach going to an away game and they played the video of that play-off final. When Brown got kicked in the head, the whole coach cheered. So they rewound it, played it again, and everyone cheered. And again, and again, and again.

Bolton ****

I eagerly await Stevie G's instant 3-match ban as soon as the FA examine that footage.

Loving the commentators trying to defend a blatant elbow to the head.
