I think it would be a good signing actually, he's been linked with the club on and off for over the years now. Not sure if it will happen though, as it's not like Wenger doesn't seem to already have a lot of faith in our current crop. Feel a bit sorry for Sorensen in all this really, as David James is a good signing for Stoke and will obviously go straight into the team, and Sorensen will end up on the bench having not done a lot wrong.

Yeah wouldn't mind it, he's not outstanding or anything but he's very reliable and the defence has absolutely zero in confidence in Almunia while Fabianski and Szczesney aren't quite ready for week in week out football at our level yet. Good stop gap and we can send Fabianski on loan once Wojciech gets back from Brentford. Won't cost too much either.

If you could see 3 years into the future.. what would you expect to see?
What do people expect to have happened with Manchester United?
Will Liverpool still be in freefall?
Will Fabregas still be at Arsenal?
Any players you expect to have developed into International stars?
I think it is a little ridiculous that in 3 years time or so the majority of the current Arsenal side will only just be 26/27. Song, Denilson, Diaby, Ramsey, Walcott, Gibbs, Clichy, Bendtner still have the majority of their careers ahead of them!

Not exactly bad news for Stoke imo, I rate David James but I would have to question the logic of selling a competent Goalkeeper so to bring in a 39 year old who probably won't be playing anywhere near his best for much longer.
