I don't think the system is particularly fair to be honest. All it means is that people who give the club money as part of a yearly subscription fee means they get priority for tickets over those who would rather not pay up. Esspecially when there are so many seats taken up by corporate events, which should be allocated to the real fans rather than those who piss off to sip champers and cucumber sandwiches during half time and don't actually give a crap about the match itself.
Well in a way if you didn't have that system you would have a mad rush for tickets at the ground like what you have in 3rd world countries, which for a big match could be quite confusing. So i guess its 50/50 good/bad.

I'm annoyed since well its always the Liverpool, Arsenal & Chelsea games that 90% impossible to get tickets for, although its possible if some of the member fans dont want to go, so some tickets may be left over. But not Man City, thats frustrating.

Wow Rafa's 300th game with Liverpool... lasted pretty well for a guy who's only ever two trophies and both of them were because of a glorified coin tossing competition.

Though I see your point, all the members system does is turn it into a race between those who are members to get the tickets rather than those who are not. It's just another way for the clubs to extract money from all the people wanting to go togames. The fact that you can pay money to become a member (quite a lot for most premiership clubs) and then still not be able to get hold of tickets just shows how stupid the whole thing is.

Apparently dive for the Liege pen, thats what my dad said who's watching it. Wonder if they can find a camera angle that makes it look like contact that justifies the decision :p

Surprised Scaly hasn't commented on Gerrard's 'tumble' yet
Think he had at least two. Both Riera & Johnson might've kept their balance in the area on other occasions too. Formation diving in Liverpool tonight.

Thoroughly ordinary game, it must be said.

Decent result for the Gers tho.
