Leeds are a maybe, Stockport is actually the closest game for us, don't know how I forgot those ****ers.

It's not too bad then, nevermind!

Bury got beat as well, dammit

Shrewsbury isn't too far though, let's hope they win in the final

BARNES OUT
Well played United, you're far too good for us all over the park.

Hopefully the derby will be a real spectacle in the coming years, and hopefully Tevez is wearing blue in the next one.

Last year showed its no formality for us, and tbh down your left you scared us at first, Rafael showing he's not the bees knees just yet. Decent out and out striker and you'll be set IMO.

What stood out for me was the amount of space United had inside the City half. I'd say they weren't offering their back four enough protection, but it would be surprising consider they had De Jong, Kompany and Ireland all on. They probably defended a bit too deep, maybe scared of being caught out by pace. Or it could be the side-effect of having Elano, Robinho and Caicedo all doing very little defensive work.

They might not have looked in United's class, but they could and should have made it a lot more difficult for us.

Lol'd at Ronaldo's reaction to being subbed. Tevez probs played his way to a Citeh jumper next season as well, so long as Man U don't turn things around and pay the fee for him.

Would be gutted at losing Tevez but don't think he's worth the price of £32m and apparently he wants to play more often - 33 starts and 15 sub appearances not enough it seems (Berbatov: 35 & 6, Rooney: 36 & 10). You can't play at a big club week-in-week-out if you're only scoring 4 goals in 17 league starts and 10 league sub appearances, though, sorry Tevez. :(

Obviously it won't happen, but perhaps a change in manager could be what Arsenal need? Perhaps somebody who isn't afraid to get rid of the dead wood and those who don't give a **** (a certain striker from Togo springs to mind). But like I said it is not going to happen.

On a different topic, what do the MU fans think of Carlos Tevez and desire to leave as he feels "unloved" by SAF? I know he has talked about wanting to stay in England, but sorry if I were to have a punt, it would be him playing for Inter next season.

Tevez is tremendously popular here. You wouldn't believe how much the fans love the guy. When you run around a lot, look like you care and score your goals at the most crucial times you gain a cult amongst your supporters.

It'll be sad to see him go, but i don't think we can justify paying £32m for him. Nor can we guarantee regular first-team football. It's unfortunate, because losing him will weaken our squad quite considerably, but i can't see a way round letting him go.

Agree pretty much all the way there. As for where he goes, if he says he wants to stay in England then I'd say only Barca/Madrid could tempt him away from the Premier League. I don't think he'll go to Inter.

I don't think Arsenal need a change in manager, just a change in mentality from the existing manager. Wenger is quality, and if he would just allow a bit more for 'big' players and more experienced players then he'll pick up again.

I think he will because of the strong South American contingent there, especially many of his countrymen are there, so in terms of language and being able to settle in would be important for him. Plus Massimo Moratti's pockets always seem deep enough when it comes to signing players and especially the amount that Tevez would cost.

That's what I think anyway. Also I think only an idiot would want to play for Real Madrid, whatever you do seems to be never enough for the fans and the crazy Presidents they seem to have ("Let's sack a manager after he got us the Primera Liga title back, lolz").

Oh yeah, and Hartlepool. TBH they're just as bad as a southern team, all the way up there
I class anyone south of Doncaster as ****neys anyway :p

Do you manage to get to many away games?

As I'm now having to save for a house I only managed to get to Leeds last season which bugs the hell out of me as (as long as you ignore the results) Ioved away games for a start you usually got a full day out with your mates on the piss. We had a lad who didn't like to drink so we always had a driver aswell.

One of the highlights of season for me was seeing the fixture list then planning what away trips I could make paying particular attention to Blackpool & Bournemouth games when a group of us would stay over for the weekend.

Anyway the way my finances are looking don't think I'l be going away much next season :crybaby::crybaby:

I did about 7 aways this season, only a handful in the couple of seasons before that. Prior to becoming a 'responsible adult', though, i used to do the lot. Got arrested at your place in the play-offs in 05, also some mates of mine staged a sit-in protest against your stewards earlier in that season (when we won 1-0 IIRC). My favourite trip ever is probably Bournemouth away having not been to bed from the night out before. That was mega.

I walked to the toilets at half-time and there were about fifty of your guys giving it the Vs at me. so I gave the Vs back, and a copper pulls me up. He warned me about my behaviour and so on. I then made the mistake of complaining about the copper who had pulled me up to another copper - basically asking why none of your lot had been warned.

On my way back from the toilet, the Vs continued, so i mindlessly flicked a few more back and kissed my badge. Next thing, the copper that I had complained to grabs me, and says, "you're out"

"What?! But what about all them??"

"All I can tell you is that you're under arrest"

Cost me eighty ****in quid :@
