And the rest of the squad tbh, it's very much Wenger's team, would imagine he's the main reason players like Fabregas would want to stay.
When has a mass exodus ever occurred at a major club(financial ruin aside)? A couple will leave but the money is there to replace most of the squad.

I'm just praying for the sake of Pitt that he did not watch the game.
I bloody hope he did tbh.
Well naturally since your a Citeh fan.
As it turns out, I didn't. I didn't even know the final score until a couple of hours afterwards. I was following it up until it got to 2-0 at half time and had, at that point, resigned myself to defeat. It wasn't on TV anyway.

Besides, I'd rather have played (and won) in the UEFA Cup on Thursday and then get tanked 6-0 on Sunday than not play in the UEFA Cup at all, and probably still lose away to City. The extra four goals we conceded probably won't make any difference in the grand scheme of things.

Hmm, interesting fellas. Well at least Gareth Crook saw it my way.

Yeah the way he was exposed by Ballack, Anelka and Kalou on a number of occasions and looked totally lacking in match fitness suggests he would be well equipped to walk back into the national side.

Neville was pretty gash, decided he'd tackle like Scholes, diving through people repeatedly

Then you've got Lee Dixon saying that the Man Utd fullbacks were heavily protected by Park Ji Sung and Hargreaves. Only thing Neville did was keep sliding through people and missing the ball but had someone to bail him out all the time.

As for Garth Crooks, based on the defenders available on that list, you'd be hard pressed to get a decent back four together.

That's what you get when you drop the unsung hero of last season for a guy who's just come back from injury and is very rusty.

Also Rooney was awful.

Word out, Robinho is loving Manchester ATM & SWP looks a different player in Sky Blue. Hope he keeps it up for the season especially, since the new style England would love him.
New Style England? FFS they win one match and it's "New Style", what a load of rubbish.

Apparently Newcastle are lining up Kenny Daglish as the new manager, would laugh so much if that's true, can start nailing the coffin shut already.

Neville wasn't brilliant but he was solid enough. Tackling got bad late in the game but satisfied with his performance for most of the outing. Rooney too was good most of the game and was instrumental in the play. Lost his head for a few minutes there. Berbatov absent most of the game but it'd be harsh to judge him so soon. Ronaldo was in good positions a few times and if this was last season he'd have scored.
