Better game than their usual encounters tbh. Felt Liverpool probably shaded it, though Chelsea finished strongly and maybe deserved their goal.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah.

Really don't mind who wins, but you have to love it when something like that happens to someone who is ginger and plays for Liverpool.
Haha yeah.

Thought the Dippers were marginally the better side, but I'm really thinking that Man United will trash them in the final, when we get there.

Barcelona are a shambles of a side at the moment. They've won 2 out of their last 8 in La Liga. They won't beat Man Utd without anything less than a miracle.

Much as I hate the Scousers, and much as I'd like to say they were ****, looking at it objectively I thought they were by far the better side... Chelsea really didn't create a chance (other than one arguably that was wasted by Lampard who should have hit it rather than ran it out), Scousers could have scored 2 or 3 IMO.

Anyway, now the Scousers have to score at the Bridge... tough ask... Chelsea favourites IMO.

They're concentrating solely on Europe though. United haven't played that well of late, have a poor semi-final record, and have bottled it a lot in recent years.

I think United are roughly 60/40 favourites now, given recent goings on, no formality though at all. The poor semi-final record, and our habit of losing them when we shouldn't, is playing on my mind.

Nice to know Frank Rijkaard logs onto Cricketweb every now and then. :p

Puyol is suspended for the 1st leg, Ronaldinho is in terrible form and has been skipping training, Henry and Messi have been plagued by injuries, Rijkaard's house was robbed a couple of days ago. Fans waved white hankerchiefs in protest as they drew 1-1 at home to Espanyol at the weekend. Schalke totally outplayed them in the quarter-final as well and probably would have deserved to at least have drawn at the Camp Nou.

All of this is true... I'm still not massively confident. Partly natural pessimism, partly because I've been confident ahead of semis before, only to be disappointed, our semi-final record is truly woeful.

Pickup (and Grecian i imagine), rumour has it i'm going to the Playoff final, providing Exeter make it. Friend at Uni's going if you make it and is trying to drum up support. As i forced him to Wrexham v Mansfield, feel i owe him.

Riise was stopped in his car by police last night. Apparently he was heading in the wrong direction.
