Top team, I wish them all the luck for the rest of the season.Northwich Victoria. Thoughts?
Define blinkered. If you mean I see everything in Man Utd's favour and defend every player, that's not true. Just seems that way on this board with all the Man Utd hate.Haha, thing is, you are blinkered.
If Chelsea beat us, I think they'll win the title, part due to pressure, part due to the other two games not being the easiest, and part because I think Fergie values the European Cup above the league.Yup. Although I really don't want it to come to that - life will be made much, much easier by at least getting a draw at the Bridge.
Didn't refer to you though did I?Yes, because I hate all things United.
Newcastle have been in good form recently though. If Chelsea beat us, I think they'll win the title, part due to pressure, part due to the other two games not being the easiest, and part because I think Fergie values the European Cup above the league.
Can really see us slipping up at Wigan on that pitch, and knowing that if Chelsea win their remaining games (which I think they will), then we have to win ours, too. Have a strange feeling that despite our poor record against West Ham, and despite our bad memories of facing them on the last day, they won't pose much of a problem.
Easiest thing to do is just to avoid defeat at the Bridge (which tbh I'm quietly confident we can do, we're not playing great atm but neither are the Renties), which near enough hands us the title.
If I wasn't working tomorrow night I'd be in the away end at Stevenage cheering them on. I'm Northwich until May, I'm Northwich until May, I know I am, I'm sure I am, I'm Northwich until may.Northwich Victoria. Thoughts?
I'm the one who initially said that you were blinkered, and I certainly don't hate United.Didn't refer to you though did I?
I've only seen one of those games, yesterday, against Sunderland, and on that performance, I'd back Chelsea to beat them.Newcastle have been in good form recently though.
Was replying to Clapham though.I'm the one who initially said that you were blinkered, and I certainly don't hate United.
Poor run because they couldn't buy a win. Was expecting them to go down myself. Now they're on a good run and been scoring plenty and playing attacking football. Bolton might not be easy for Chelsea either.I've only seen one of those games, yesterday, against Sunderland, and on that performance, I'd back Chelsea to beat them.
Typical media, Newcastle's poor run has been overstated (they played pretty well in a number of these games), as has their good run been (they haven't really beaten anyone of note).
Was just agreeing with your point about the lower leagues. Greenacre ain't a cult hero, just a legend. Cult heroes for the whites, most recent one is Mark Rankine I reckinGreenacre at the time was a legend, no Wayne Corden though. Now we've another forward scoring for fun, that we'll probably lose in the summer, he's 32 though so i reckon the only reason he'll actually be off is if we go down.
