Norwood's on Fire
Ah well at least they decided to have a third/foruth placed play-off this year. At Wembley as well.

Just don't know why they're calling it the FA Cup Final.

Well, I work in Liverpool, so you can imagine the sorts of things I've been seeing these last two mornings

And Taggart is now blaming the Premier League for it - yes of course, the lack of time before the game was the key wasn't it, seeing as Milan's game at the weekend was after yours...

Also seeing as Milan rested almost their entire first XI. Hmm he must be completely off his rocker to even think that AC Milan are in a similar position to Liverpool. What with both being in third place in their leagues and both resting players on the weekend and both having less taxing last couple of weeks than thier semi final opponent. Also, it's completely false that they have nothing else to play for except the CL title these last few weeks while both Chelsea and Manchester United have been fighting on three fronts.

It doesn't matter that Milan's game was after Man Utd's when you factor in that at best 2 or 3 of the team that played Torino started yesterday. Oh and that they all got taken off after about 60 or so mins. Also, it's completely stupid to say that pretty much all of Man Utd's team who played Everton picked up knocks and who knows how injured they were playing yesterday. He must also be wankers for even assuming that the Engilsh fixture list has been tough the last couple months for teams involved in multiple comptetitions say Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham while in Italy it's rare that they play two league games in a week........Rant over.
8-)

How many times this season have Manure played 2 league games in a week then?

And when is the most recent occurance, Easter I'd say, which is a month ago and didn't seem to harm them when they were playing Roma.

When exactly did he want Manure's games rescheduled to, June or July (?)

Oh no, can't do that because it would clash with their money-spinning, sorry I mean footballing, tour of Asia or the USA...

30-Dec, 1-Jan

31-Jan, 4-Feb

7-Apr, 10-Apr

17-Apr, 21-Apr

5-May, 9-May, 13-May

(just answering the first question, not taking sides or anything)

EDIT: Unless you count FA Cup games. Then it's more.

Towns has already answered the first question.

A month ago where since then we've played two games a week. Five games in 14 days actually counting from the FA Cup semi which followed playing Roma until against Everton Saturday.

Sunday not Saturday. And he can't have games scheduled in those months because **shock, horror* the Premier League ends on the 13th of MAY. Man Ut requested the game being moved from the 5th of MAY to the 6th of MAY. Doesn't seem so difficult a task when the the TV people didn't mind moving the game and they're usually a determining factor.

Also, how does June or July come into it? Did you just read the headline or something? Or are you just that blind with hate? What does that have to do with a money spinning or footballing tour? Why wouldn't the club want to make money considering it's indebtedness and using the club's profits to pay off the owner's debt? Completely unreasonable. They're just greedy scumbags aren't they?

As far as I'm concerned, City gave a pretty good reason for not changing the date and I could care less. I still expect a good showing from the lads, too. Chelsea whines about it and we laughed at them. We can't whine about it and expect different.

Who's whinging? I'm just pointing out the errors in his statement. No way has Fergie complained about it to the level of Mourinho. Even though our injury crisis was worse Utd still did better than Chelsea.

As far as I read, he blamed a dire performance. Anyway if he was blaming the league he'd have some merit IMO, the fixture conjestion here is far greater than in any other league and that's certainly been a contributing factor to injuries.

Injuries alone are not to blame last night though, yes the makeshift defence was dire but so was the midfield and attack.
