*Official* English Football Season 2006-07

Argh, still only need two but that goal has knocked the stuffing out of us.

Ah well, as much as it pains to support a load of match-fixers I hope they smash the Dippers.

Still the league. :(

EDIT: And next season...

That's the thing that bothers me, all these idiots in the media who're going 'game over' just because... Manure suddenly still need two goals... seriously irritating how such dimwits get on the radio, TV etc.

Can't believe that crap. Awful performance and a slightly biased ref. I'm so angry right now it isn't funny.:ranting:Feel like cursing right now which I rarely if ever do.

Surely though after half time Man U had a lot of the play, and whilst 3-0 doesn't necessarily effect the game score-wise, Man U were totally gone. Their heads totally dropped. They may have still needed 2 goals, but the game was dead from then on really.

They weren't that obvious but a few occassions where calls went wrongly against Utd players. I can remember one against Fletcher and another against either Ronaldo or Rooney or both.

Yeah, I remember those vividly. Roseboy, do you remember the favourable decisions that were given to Massimo Ambrosini, Luther Blissett, Joe Jordan and Oliver Bierhoff?

Milan did deserve to win though. I'm not being bitter but the ref did blow a few calls. Didn't matter overall though.

Having said that though, Man United did brilliantly to reach thus far. With all the injuries, compressed fitures and whatnot, it was a great effort. Can only complain about the performance but all factors considered well done to both teams and I hope Milan wins.

Convincingly outplaying your opponents over 90 minutes isn't enough to earn you a win these days?

Earned alot of respect for Seedorf with his goal. Vidic's challenge was shockingly timed and I'd expect 99 out of 100 wendyball players to throw themselves to the floor and hope for a penalty instead of staying on their feet.

Incidentally, in today's "WTF" news, Gravesend & Northfleet FC are now officially Ebbsfleet United FC.
I get the 'fleet' bit, but where did 'Ebbs' come from?

I don't know now, I hate Milan and I'm not the biggest fan of Liverpool. Liverpoool it is.
