Cech's had surgery for a depressed fracture of the skull...it's not clear how that's gone yet....& Carlo was discharged Saturday night after being knocked unconscious.

I've been following the Premier league this season, and I haven't figured out a team to support yet. The sensible thing to do would be to support the teams going well but I'm not sure...The next person who posts can choose a team for me to support then.

Stephen Hunt wasnt a violent player when he was at Brentford and i would be suprised if it was deliberate but i havnt actualy seen it. Hope Cech makes a full recovery but it sounds like he will be out for a while. Havnt seen the other one envolving another ex brentford player but Sonko is a very big guy and could probably do a lot of damage, again though i havnt seen it.

I'm 100% convinced Sonko's was accidental; he never took his eyes off the ball &, in fact, Cudicini probably ran into him rather than vice versa.

Hunt's was probably accidental, but it's one of those where you'd have to be Hunt to know for sure. From some angles it looks like he may have left his knee in, although for me it'd be strange to lead with the knee rather than the boot if you genuinely meant the keeper harm.
