So they did finally find enough teams to make up Serie A in the end then?!
Yep Ascoli and Trevsio got the nod after Genoa and Torino got shafted to C1. Emplo had gained promotion but they weren't in massive debts, match fixing or doing some dodgy tax payments (what suffered to messina but they got their spot back on appeal).

I assume Henry is in your team as well? That is why you and I didn't do so flash (it has been poor for me all season :@ ).
Hmm what a waste of (virtual) money... that is until he plays Sunderland or Wigan then it'll be boot filling time. Shearer still hasn't scored any for my team, I think he's waiting til Souness gets the sack then he'll turn up.

First player I pick in any fantasy team. Admittedly he doesn't turn it on as much against the bigger boys as I'd like, but in any comp where you get points for goals and assists he'll be your top boy every time. Goals against ManUre or Chelski don't count double.....

In the Sportal thing tho it's gonna be a midfielder (likely Fat Frank) 'cos they get points for clean sheets too.

Think I might try and maneuver the posing big game flop in for the last few games of the season - when the CDMs are resigned to also-rans and so he'll boost his record while it means diddly.

if you have had Henry as captain then you wont have had a poor return at all, i have done fine with him, the fact that he hasnt done anything this week is down to the fact that arsenal havent had a match.

Once again it shows Perez knows nothing about football by getting rid of Samuel and Solari and to a lesser extent Figo (apparently he went well yeasterday) and yet sign's nobodies in Garcia, Diogo, and Robinho and no cover in defence. No trophies for you.
yeah very poor move that, but if woodgate can get back to near his better form then he will be a good replacement for samuel, although the purchases of both of them now look incredibly foolish.

Well considering Lampard was a lot cheaper in the FPL earlier, I think I know which player I'd rather have... anyway as I said the posing flop will come into his own when he's up against Sunderland, Wigan etc. or at the end of the season when the CDMs randomly thrash someone.

Still Henry outdid van nistelrooy then, Henry scored against chelsea twice last season, and no i wasnt referring to the charity shield i was referring to the match in the premiership, and so what if henry didnt score against man utd last season ? Van nistelrooy didnt score against arsenal despite a hat-full of sitters. And if chelsea can restrict henry to long range efforts then thats fine by me as hes got a far greater chance of putting on in than any other player in the premiership, van nistelrooy included.
Sure long range efforts that had no chance of scoring. I'd be surprised if he could have seen the goal. That's where he's best from anyway. It's more that Chelsea didn't give him enough room to get decent shots. Also, van Nistelrooy did score against Arsenal. When he faced them again he wasn't in any sort of form so you can't use that seeing he was coming off a long injury so that's no use. Oh and about the charity shield. The words big game were emphasised so i thought it was sarcastic referring to the charity shield seeinbg as it's not exactly respected.

Liverpool should offer Crouch to Newcastle..there's no point Owen going to Newcastle and playing in such a hopeless team.

I think its fairly obvious what Owen thinks of Newcastle when he only wants to go there on a season loan. He's clearly holding out for Liverpool or whether things get brighter for him at Real.

NUFC really did need Owen at the struggling club, and we were in luck. So far this season Newcastle has scored 0 goals which is crazy.

Only time will tell whether that was a stupid decision by Owen or a stroke of genius.
