what the f**k happened today with England i saw the ending part of the game, jesus not a good defeat leading up to the final stage of WC qualifiers  but its a meaningless match of course lets hope England dont repeat this kind of performaces at all in the near future.....

If England lose it is suddenly a meaningless match but if they win it is completely different.

In other news David Bellion has gone to West Ham on a season loan and if does to him what it did for Richardson then it would have been a good move. TBH he will fit right in there.

On another note i would like to say that Leeds United will be coming up next season to the premier league, and therefore hopefully do a chelsea and win the EPL. It may take a while but i am not jumping ships to a more successful team.

So you would be hoping for a backer to help buy good players, this is the only way a team can "do a Chelsea".

Actually no, if you believe the media it's the other way around - if England lose the apocalypse is coming, if England win (which doesn't happen much in friendlies) then it's the usual obvious guff about not carried away, it's only a friendly.

When England win, especially in a WC match, people are quick to say this could be their year.

No, some of us regard them as meaningless regardless of scoreline.

if Owen was to come here he definately wont replace Rooney or Van but if he did come i reckon Sir Alex would consider changing our 4-4-2 formation to a (3-4-3 or 4-3-3) to play him up front....

Read an article recently that to buy Owen at Real Madrid's asking price of £11m and if he asks for £90,000 per week and forthe standard four year contract he would like it would push the total transfer (including his wages) around approx to £30m!

Arsenal can't and I doubt Liverpool can, Man U if they want but probably won't, and Chelsea aren't interested (at the moment). Either way apart from Chelasea he would likely need to take a pay cut (I mean is there much of a difference between £70,000-90,000 a week apart from the obvious £20k difference?).

Is he still linked with Lyon too? I think that if Liverpool really wanted him then they could make it work...esp. if Baros leaves...
