Real Madrid have now sacked their 5th coach in 2 and a half years, and they way it is going who would want to manage them? They get rid of their best defensive and holding midfield players for more attackers and looks what happens? Although that is hardly Luxemburgo's fault.

And I bet Vicente Del Bosque is sitting their laughing...

Real Madrid aren't a football club any more, they're a breeding ground for laziness and arrogance - if they're not careful they're going to destroy one of the world's most talented young players in Robinho.

Crouch scored
In all fairness though, the first one should have been an own goal by the 'keeper, how can you give Crouch the goal for the 'keeper punching it in his own net?

There seems a thing in football where everyone wants to award own goals for almost anything. The ball was going towards the goal before it hit anyone and after it hit the defender so it's Crouch's goal. The amount of blame apportioned to the keeper, defender or whoever is irrelevant.

I don't know who you'd award it to tho if the shot was going towards goal, it hit the defender and was going wide and *then* the keeper punched it in.

That was a clear own goal - one of the most obvious seen in years.

How can you give Crouch the goal after it looped about three miles in the air off a defender's leg is my question. The keeper would never have had trouble catching it had it not gone sky-high before dropping over his head. If the shot hadn't been half-blocked who knows what could have happened? You certainly can't be sure enough to call it Crouch's goal.

Oh right, so lets award any slightly deflected goals or goals where the keeper has dropped a clanger as an own goal then shall we...
