And again, no stopping him now.Crouch scored
You might want to add this to it.Barney Rubble said:Crouch scoring twice + Redknapp going back to Pompey (+ 8 wickets in 12.1 overs) = World going insane.
More in mourning really. Bolton are a bit of a bogey team for us, so I half expected it anyway.Craig said:BB still in shock over Bolton's win over Arsenal?
One win in the last six against the Trotters.BoyBrumby said:More in mourning really. Bolton are a bit of a bogey team for us, so I half expected it anyway.
Thanks. That really eases my pain.Neil Pickup said:One win in the last six against the Trotters.
Real Madrid aren't a football club any more, they're a breeding ground for laziness and arrogance - if they're not careful they're going to destroy one of the world's most talented young players in Robinho.Craig said:Real Madrid have now sacked their 5th coach in 2 and a half years, and they way it is going who would want to manage them? They get rid of their best defensive and holding midfield players for more attackers and looks what happens? Although that is hardly Luxemburgo's fault.
And I bet Vicente Del Bosque is sitting their laughing...
In all fairness though, the first one should have been an own goal by the 'keeper, how can you give Crouch the goal for the 'keeper punching it in his own net?Scaly piscine said:Brace yourself folks...
Crouch scored
There seems a thing in football where everyone wants to award own goals for almost anything. The ball was going towards the goal before it hit anyone and after it hit the defender so it's Crouch's goal. The amount of blame apportioned to the keeper, defender or whoever is irrelevant.Tom Halsey said:In all fairness though, the first one should have been an own goal by the 'keeper, how can you give Crouch the goal for the 'keeper punching it in his own net?
That was a clear own goal - one of the most obvious seen in years.Scaly piscine said:There seems a thing in football where everyone wants to award own goals for almost anything. How can you give Crouch the goal after it looped about three miles in the air off a defender's leg is my question. The keeper would never have had trouble catching it had it not gone sky-high before dropping over his head. If the shot hadn't been half-blocked who knows what could have happened? You certainly can't be sure enough to call it Crouch's goal.Tom Halsey said:In all fairness though, the first one should have been an own goal by the 'keeper, how can you give Crouch the goal for the 'keeper punching it in his own net?
Oh right, so lets award any slightly deflected goals or goals where the keeper has dropped a clanger as an own goal then shall we...Barney Rubble said:How can you give Crouch the goal after it looped about three miles in the air off a defender's leg is my question.
