Lancashire in a strong position at grace road lead appraching 350, looking good lads
Anderson got 3/39 too (not that it matters, I've been bad-mouthing D2 and he still averages above 30 with the ball).

David Sales smacked a thundering 152* for Northants too - highest score in their match with Worcs before that was 62...

Wow, Sales' innings was something special, just looked at the stats. 152* from 150 balls, 20x4, 7x6. What a way to set a target.

Nice to see Caddick get 3 wickets so far, and Blackwell got 2 of his own. A. Flower is on 92* at lunch, looks set for another century.

Great win for Lancashire, nice to see Anderson finally getting a 5 for after all the bowling he has done this season....

I was at cheltnham today too see hampshire complete and excellent victory over glocstashire. They had too be very patient on a day whare they had too take all 10 wickets. After lunch any 3 results were still possible with windows and sarwan at the crease but a spell of accurate bowling from mascharenhas and bichel slowed the scoring putting gloscatsihre out the game and yielded the key wicket of sarwan. However hamphire were made too wait again for the next breakthrough but got 2 in 3 balls through Watson and Udal setting up a final session in which they required 5 wickets. Udal got rid of the tail with about 40 minuites left finishing with 6 wickets on a pitch that was so dry and dusty it was more like a pitch from the subcontinent. A great win too take them second and they should not be relageted now

well i think their is a good chance after Australia tour of SA ends in march 2006, the aussies are free until the champions trophy so it will be up to him but i'm sure Watkinson will want him back.

I'd like to see Hegg go on for another 19 years but I don't think it is going to happen :@

What is Cross (the 2nd team keeper) like?

yea cross is the 2nd keeper but his performaces haven't been that great at CC thats why Lancashire have been looked in the direction of sutton....
