James Taylor plays for the Lions. Scores a ton.

In other news the seas are wet.

Who is the highest run scorer for the Lions? Taylor has to be close.

Had a great day in Scarborough on Monday, brilliant ground and a very entertaining game.

Jack Leaning played really well but Essex chased it so easily in the end, ten Doeschate in charge the whole time he was out there, shame Ryder got himself out when he was looking great but he played the shot of the day, smashed it on to the pavilion roof.

Yorks giving Rashid an over in the powerplay with a short leg-side boundary one of the stranger things I have seen, was surprised the over only went for about 20.

Your've gotta love Jesse Ryder sometimes. Seriously looks like he's up against the Hampshire Under 12's. So much time.

Pretty big score, for getting bowled out. No-one really impressed with the bowling though. Ryder pretty good with the bat.

Looking forward to see Mills bowl.

Yeah, Essex badly hit by the loss of Mills after two overs. Topley injured, or rested?

Think I heard one of the comms mention earlier that KP is going to be available for Championship matches for Surrey soon - not that surprised actually.

Looks like it's gone - WASP down to 8%. That over from Napier turned it - good effort for someone who got 0-84 the other day.

OT says Will Gidman being chased by counties, guess thats another 1 that got away.
I saw it reported elsewhere a while ago that he wanted to go somewhere to play 1st Division cricket, there is also the suggestion he might want to go back up North. Back to Durham would therefore be my best bet, Lancs would be interested but unless we have some miraculous turnaround we aren't going to be offering 1st division cricket next year.

He suits what the Bears look for in a cricketer but runs our issue more than wickets. We need to make moves to solidify our batting line up for next year, our T20 ticket sales up 55% on last year so hopefully bit more cash around.

He's going to Durham; possibly Yorkshire if they're actually interested and not just showing interest for the sake of leaving the option open.

His wife's from up north and wants to go back up north. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't.

I think Alex Hales is "making a statement" here, and it's basically PICK ME YOU ****ING IDIOTS.

I said not long ago that you just have to admire what he's done this year in terms of pressing on - established himself in their FC side and really has banged the door down for an ODI call up.

Jimmeh Taylor doing his thang too

Edit: Back to back 6s takes his List A average over 50

Has James Taylor just over-shadowed Hales there. Incredible stuff.

Really should both be in the ODI squad.
