Hmm nice choke from Middlesex in their match with Surrey.
Lol.

When Schofield gets 4/49 you know something is wrong!

James Tredwell: 59 & 2*, 11/120 against Glamorgan.

He's done well this season.

I forgot about the coincidence of the situation of course, Surrey only needed 5 off the final over against Durham the other week and lost. Middlesex only needed 3 off the final 4 balls against Surrey and didn't manage it.

I guess the moral of the story is southerners are soft.

I was there, it was an extraordinary finish. When Udal hoisted Murtaza's second ball of the final over over long-on for 6 I thought we were stuffed I must say.

Plenty of Middlesex support at the ground which made it all the more satisfying.

I have to say I haven't really rated Murtaza in the past, and still don't tbh - but his last wicket stand of 33 with Meaker was critical - without it Middx would've only been chasing around 4.5 an over.

Why are none of today's games on Sky?

Typical, for once the wife has gone out on a Sunday morning leaving me with a window of cricket viewing opportunity and there's no game on the tele! :@

It was scheduled to be the 5th day of the test today. I did think they might have decided to show one of the games at late notice but they may have decided it wasn't logistically practical

Well it was quite nice watching the 2005 Ashes again! It was interesting to hear the Sky commentary, have become used to the Channel 4 version on the DVD.

Always knew it would be a tough game today, our position at the top of the group was extremely flattering given we've played probably the 3 worst sides in the comp (excluding Scotland whom we always lose to anyway). We are not a good OD side. Still we made an appalling decision to bat first so we are digging our own grave.

At least we are hanging in there to at least give the crowd a day out. Steven Parry getting a few on his OD debut
