Glouce don't enforce the follow on

I'm right that in a 4 day match if the team batting second, don't get to within 150 of the total the follow on is enforceable aren't I?

Yeah.

Doesn't look like Gloucestershire‘s decision is that wise, they are currently 3 for 2.

Some shockingly low scores around the country - won't be good for Saturday's 'gate.'

Worcs 73-9 (replying to 455), Sussex 93-7 (against 433); Gloucs 134-8; Kent 123-8. Looks like I might not be going to Canterbury tomorrow after all.

Hampshire batting again with a lead of 369 :-O - banking on the Warne factor, and continued good weather.

Kent's tail showing a bit more stickability than they did in the first innings.

Miserable performance from Kent - looks like it'll be all over in 2 days. Not good, especially as Surrey are our nearest rivals when it comes to the relegation battle. The farcical situation with the abandoned game at Worcestershire is looking more and more costly.

Anyone have an exact figure on the number of wickets which have fallen in the first class game today, near the 100 mark? Over 20 fell at Canterbury and probably an equal amount went down at the Rose Bowl...

Good job Surrey didn't need 30 runs more or they would have real trouble. Joe Denly was supposedly getting a decent amount of purchase from the wicket.

I wasn't there, but I'd imagine the reason Surrey lost a few wickets was that they were trying to finish it off tonight. Could probably have gone in at 60-3 if they'd wanted to come back tomorrow.

great to see big Simon Jones bowling again. Hopefully the bloke can stay fit.
His been playing for a couple of weeks now Aussie and his still wicketless after 67 overs. But more worryingly for Jones is the talk that he won't be offered a new deal by Glamorgan.

I was listening to a bit of it and it did seem like Surrey were not finding the total that easy. Denly’s introduction wasn't an indication of Kent waving the flag but rather the necessity of a two spin attack.

I make it 128 in the Championship alone ... ranging from 23 at the Rose Bowl and 22 at Canterbury, down to 9 apiece at Colwyn Bay and Trent Bridge.

Yea dunno if you're including the overs before he had his latest but brief setback, doubt he took (m)any wickets then either.

I think it's more like a case of he's trying to get fit by bowling overs, not stay fit.

Edit: Yep you are including them.

Warks. about 300 runs ahead of Sussex and in a ridiculously solid position for a win.
