Styris has 5* off 28 so far for Durham... that'll really help my sunny disposition towards NZers while Durham are going at nearly 6 an over.

Styris' failure didn't hurt Durham too much, to be fair when he's got a bit of form he'll make Durham look a pretty tough outfit.

Durham 332-4 off their 50, Worc 32-3 off 9.1 - Hick looks like their last hope for respectability, Harmison and Plunkett still to bowl.

Who here has seen the lad Denly play from Kent?

Another decent score today and he has stated his career by putting up some impressive numbers.

I know nothing about him, the thoughts of others that may have seen more?

Yay, they were only outbowled by Breese, Gibson and Killeen, truly world-class.

Yeah, Denly looks statistically great, like Godleman, but I've seen neither play, would be interesting to hear first hand reports.

Somerset got from 50-5 to 339 a.o. thanks to 127 from James Hildreth (gotta love 'im :D ), 77 from Cam White & 64 n.o. from Steffan Jones :D :D :D

We'll still probably lose (Middlesex are currently 58-1, chasing 138 to win), but at least it won't be such a white-wash!!

Love Somerset. Langer and White are champs. Middlesex`ll still get up, but they made a match of it.

Not seen him yet unfortunately, but am very keen to get along to do so asap. There are a lot of good things being said about him, and he's done pretty well at under 19 level for England I think.

A top three of Cook, Denly, Godleman for England looks pretty darn good to me.

Interesting game at Hove... And an interesting final day coming up ..Can Lancashire force a win or will Sussex manage to bowl Lancs out on the 4th innings...

Its a tussle between the two Ms, Murali and Mushy ..:)

Seven sixes from eight balls

Fox Sports need to up the quality of their cricket correspondents, IMO. Confusing Greg Smith (the Derbyshire and Griqualand West allrounder born 1983 in Jo'burg) with Graeme Smith (allround hated batsman born 1981 in Jo'burg), must be rather embarrassing

Ali Cook brings up a ton, in a limited overs match.

Off 113 balls too. Shoe-in for the ODIs now, I would think.

He has to be really, doesn't he? He's in such good nick at the moment, it's really good to see.

It'll be interesting to see how Prior goes later against Kent. He'll certainly be up against a better bowling attack than he's been used to these last couple of weeks

Yes, and praise should go to the new regime. Fletcher wouldn't have played him in this match. Which would of meant his limited-over experience would of remained negligible.

He can put that reverse sweep away, mind. Ugly thing.

On the subject of Prior it will be interesting if Sussex have him opening because both Scyld Berry and Steve James (guess what paper I read?) say he should opn in the ODI team even though that was tried (and failed) in the subcontinent in 2005-06. Berry also says Bopara could be understudy for Flintoff - in ODIs yes not sure about Tests- why this obsession with an allrounder at 6? WI in the 80s and the Aussies in the 90s did quite well without one.

Andrew Hall's having a great all-round game for Kent, scored a hundred batting at three and his just dismissed Mike Yardy first ball.
