great to see Langer back in action.

Yeah awesome innings, his first 50 was just normal test cricket Langer no slogging just fantastic square cutting and timing. But it was ridiculous bowling from Gloucestershire, this is a guy who bats at the WACA and what do you do drop it short two yards outside off stump, just asking to get pulled or cut.

Afghanistan are on tour over here at the moment, and beat a pretty strong looking Essex Second XI side including Grant Flower, Will Jefferson, Ryan ten Doeschate, Graeme Napier and Tony Palladino (scorecard).

A few runs for the aforementioned Billy Godleman the other day as well, against a similar attack to the one that play Afghanistan (scorecard).
