What a name for an Aussie!
Reminds me of the Three Lions '98 video, where all the German fans are wearing shirts with "Kuntz 11" on them, in honour of legendary left-winger Stefan Kuntz....

Ben Wright's supposed to be pretty special isn't he? And Rashid has taken buckets of low-level wickets. Isn't Godleman still about twelve? What about that kid who scored loads v SL earlier this year - or is he on exams?

Think Godleman is 17, the guy who scored against SL is from Kent, Northeast IIRC though Godleman played in the same game and made about 30

Rashid scored a ton and took a fiver against Lancs seconds last week, but we still won after following on,

Billy Godleman born 11 February 1989 (and has an FC game, for Middx v Cambridge UCCE)
Sam Northeast (62 v SL) born 16 October 1989.

They opened together against Lanka, actually. Godleman made 31. (and both scored at the pace of Sunny Gavaskar).

I'm still chuckling at poor Rory Hamilton-Brown...

i can't see why they are either, our team is not as good as it was last year. The batting will be heavily reliant on Loye and Law. Last year the bowling attack was Cork, Anderson, Murali, Keedy, Hodge with Chapple and Crook for backup. Then Symonds replaced Murali and we had Flintoff for finals day.

This year the attack will be Cork, Hogg, Smith, Keedy, Marshall with Astle for support.

We'll do alright, but we should be far from favourites

think you are missing a keeper as well there George, Cross will be there instead of Horton or Crook. Could be a surprise package aswell Cross imo

Oops, yeah, Cross will definitley play - Horton likely to miss out. Cross could be a brilliant Twenty20 player, standing up to the stumps.

Yea doesn't look that strong to be honest, batting will be key if Lancashire are going to live up to our favourite tag.

Sam Northeast, who made 62* forSir JP Getty's XI vs Sri Lanka this year, is about 10 months older than me, so he should have finished his GCSEs by now.
This bloke can bat everyone is talking about him, will be interesting to see if Kent send a school side to the Gary Sobers International school cricket competition in Barbados next month if he goes, he could score a lot of runs over their.

20/20 kicks off today, anyone looking forward to it? who's going to win? players to watch out? for et cetera et cetera.

I fancy Kent to do rather well, good hard hitting batting line up and Tyron Henderson is an absolute gem in 20/20. Though the South section is extremely tough this season. Do not fancy my boys Surrey doing all that well, batting is fine but the seam attack is pathetic at best.

Got tickets for Surrey's game against Kent tomorrow. Should be a sell out and a cracker.
