Typical Davies figures so far, 8-5-9-1.
didn't bowl today, injured again?

Durham doing pretty well in any case, hopefully they can get one over Hampshire, shame that Yorkshi*e are in trouble, never though i'd say this but i hope they win.

Lancashire going well, 180-2 with Chilton on 92*

I see Phil Jaques has scored another double ton, was in line to beat his career best again but England's very own Monty Panesar has just dismissed him.

Congrats to Neil Dexter as well, who scored his first century of the year.
Sheer naivety on my part but whenever I played Neil as a kid, I always believed I was the better cricketer until one day on a minefield he smashed a ton of little more than 40 balls whereas yours truly was bowled for a duck, all went down hill from there I tell you.

I know that feeling.

I always used to rate myself better than one or two players I used to play with or against who went on to become decent pros.

I got older, realised that they were good, I was rubbish. It's a sobering feeling.

Phil Jaques :-O

Get that man in the Australian team now.

Good to see Hodge getting 161, too.

Great stuff from Lancashire. Hopefully they can get up to 450. Great innings from Hodge, and Jaques too. What a player. Don't know why he failed in the last few Pura Cup and ING Cup games for NSW. Summed up our season really.

Probably though I suspected Craig’s post was in relation to Gordon Greenidge’s son.
It was.

Sorry I don't know why I was thinking of Tim, I think I was thinking of Tim Ambrose for some reason.

I'll probably take out the vague award.

Fitting, I suppose, that Graham Wagg's first first-class wicket for Derbyshire following his drugs suspension should be caught by Pipe.

Eddie, please don't look at Derbyshire's scorecard this afternoon, it will only upset you.
Too late, I'm afraid.

They are determined to prise my avatar from my cold, dead fingers

Tense moments between Worcs and Northants: Zaheer on 4 for 17 and Ganguly on 0 from 8.

EDIT: Goodbye Ganguly, bowled for 2. Zaheer on 5 for 19. 10 this time?
