Another top win by "England's worst county by far"...

I'm beginning to think that the major clearout last winter just might open the door for a not-too-shabby season.
Two victories in two days for Derby. A performance not seen since the last century I think

Looks like the trip to Derbyshire has turned Welsh bowler Seffan Jones from mere bog-standard county trundler into a nice little strike bowler.

Apart from the sheep eddie is there anything else in Derby that would perk a welshman up?

Well, one of them deliberately ran my project manager off the road last week, so there must be something in the air or the water making them a bit feisty.

Possibly an attempt by the local government to make derby more exciting to tourists...

Excellent first day for Hampshire in the very tough match away at Edgbaston. 280-4 with Carbery getting his first hundred for Hampshire. Hope to get to 400 tomorow and make it maximum batting points two games in a row. Very rare for Hampshire.

120 runs needed in 30 overs - based on yesterday I'd say that's unlikely.

Hampshire 367-6 at lunch. I will eventually get down there.....it'll only take me 15mins......but then I need food.....hmmm.....

Chris Read has tried to lamp Mushtaq, Dave Hussey and Chris Adams had to intervene according to Sky.

What's that I hear? Oh, it appears to be the sound of Read's England career going down the toilet.

Duncan Fletcher is known for being ruthless with players who show attitude problems. If he thinks Read has a dodgy temperament, then he won't pick him.

Chris Read would have never played international cricket anyway, before he tried to lamp the hell out of Mushy..

Shame a severe banning hasn't been handed out.. Although I guess crickets administrators have been trying to turn cricket into football/baseball for a while now, so this kind of behaviour will probably get swept away somewhere..
