Devon 156-9 vs Leicestershire 156 all out

My understanding of the Playing Conditions (Section 5.1.1) is that "the team losing the lesser number of wickets shall be the winner".

Yorkshire are coming to Exmouth - and I will be there. Productive use of study week, I reckon! :)

another one which is shaping up as a potential upset is Hereford vs Worcs...Hereford need about 130 in 21 overs with 6 wickets left

well, me being a Woolyback (person from Leicestershire), I am absolutely disgraced. Full credit to the Devon though, i like to see the Underdog's go through!

Leicestershire have a lot of problems on and off the field and the Captain, Phil DeFreitas is the cause of them. He was the reason why Luke Wright left the club, he has caused a lot of unrest between players and as a captain he is nothing special. Like today, I mean Jeremy Snape and Ottis Gibson were our two best bowlers, the most economical certainly yet he only gives them 8 overs! I mean he bowled Brad Hodge for god sake's, why bowl Hodge for 5 overs when you have a former One Day International offie in your ranks? Makes no sense to me!

Didn't they beat Zim by 10 wickets last season. They seem to be pretty talented  .
Indeed they did. Ireland v Zimbabwe :)

It was an absolute trouncing as well. If it wasn't for geographical difficulties, I think they might have a strong case for FC status.

Herefordshire 146-4 (29 overs) - Rain Stopped Play

The D/L par score by the best of my calculations is 279 * 55.4 ÷ 99.1 = 156

And Worcestershire would win by 10 runs.

which is good news Swervy

:D no it isnt...coz the less first class teams in the later rounds the more chace Lancashire have of winning the trophy...and i want Lancashire to make a clean sweep this season and get all four titles

hey i would say more chance than any other team this season
And I'd agree.

In all honesty, so long as Yorkshire and Surrey win nothing, I'm not desperately bothered who does :)

No but its been raining all morning and my garden is saturated ;)
Damn, I was really looking forward to following coverage of Herefordshire vs Worcestershire from SpaceMonkey's garden as well.

Still, I imagine your garden is too small for a full blown county game though?

Langeveldt on the other hand...
