Looks about as strong as a Essex team can be   :whistling

Essex side (12, 11 to bat)

There's the problem - they picked 12 and were so stupid they didn't realise not all 12 could bat!

I just noticed Craig Spearman plays county cricket - can anyone tell me what other New Zealanders can be found in what teams, and also other international players? I've never been able to keep up with county stuff, but it'd be nice to find a team to support and players I can recognise.

There has been a lot of confusion regarding this and latest Ive heard is that Sridharan Sriram of India and Yasir Arafat are playing for the Scots as overseas pros !

Warwickshire use 8 bowlers in each innings and 9 in total (only 1 not taking a wicket)

Jim Troughton (career figures of 35-0-199-0 before today) finishes with 2.2-1-1-3.

Is there really any point in these UCCE games?

I guess it's simply time out in the middle and the First Class players know that they will do well so it's a confidence boost going into the season.
