my last post doesn't come off very sympathetically to starc but i am sorry for him. real bitch have to make 3 24 hour flights in a week or so- for what seems like an error made by cricket australia.
anyway the weather is excellent today ...... alas the forecast isn't so good for the rest of the week.
and with Buttler spitting the webbing on his hand again somerset are down to their last 11 players apparently. Last Eleven Men Standing Face Durham - News - Somerset County Cricket Club
With Compton away on lions also, the team is amazingly short on batting.
A.Suppiah, A.Barrow, J.Hildreth (capt), C.Kieswetter (wkt), P.Trego, L.Gregory, C.Meschede, V.Philander, C.Overton, M.Waller, G.Dockrell.
I almost feel the ecb should make a special exemption and replace compton in the lions team but then other counties will be upset and Compton will miss out on his chance to impress so not really fair on compton.
good chance for durham to finally get a win under their belts - might need to get lucky with the weather though.
