Would leave us needing 7 points from our last 3 games for promotion assuming Essex win tomorrow and get maximum point wins from their last 3. Next game is at home to Leicestershire as well...win this and that game and the title is pretty much nailed on

Dire performance from Hampshire. I really like a lot of our young players but a long spell in division 2 is looking a very real possibility and that is not going to do them any good. Going to have to invest in a couple of bowlers and maybe a batsman as well, a quality overseas bowler would make a big difference.

Sounds like Chapple might struggle to play again this season after his injury today so should give Jarvis a chance to impress
